Those who have participated in the Hoenn Celebration Event in Pokemon GO<\/em><\/strong> recently likely have plenty of Pokemon from it. One of these is likely Bagon, one of the Pokemon that players needed in order to complete the Hoenn Collection Challenge<\/a> during the event.<\/p>\n

Bagon is a pure Dragon-type Pokemon that can evolve into Shelgon with 25 Bagon Candies in Pokemon GO<\/a><\/em>. Shelgon, another pure Dragon-type, can then evolve into Salamence with 100 Bagon Candies.<\/p>\n

Salamence is one of the top contenders in Pokemon GO<\/em>‘s PVP scene. It is a dual Dragon and Flying-type Pokemon<\/a> making it weak to Ice, Fairy, Dragon, and Rock-type moves. Meanwhile, it also resists Fighting, Water, Bug, Fire, Grass, and Ground-type moves.<\/p>\n

Despite its typing, Salamence can learn quite a variety of different typed moves. Players however should take advantage of moves with STAB, which is a common acronym in the Pokemon<\/em> community that stands for “Same Type Attack Bonus.” This means that Flying and Dragon-type moves work best on Salamence.<\/p>\n
