Mass Effect: Legendary Edition<\/strong><\/em> is set to be one of the biggest re-releases of the year, collecting the original three\u00a0Mass Effect<\/em> trilogy of games in a single package with most of their DLC and enhanced graphics. Anyone that wants to purchase the base game will be out $59.99, but like with most big game releases, a Collector’s Edition is also available.\u00a0Mass Effect: Legendary Edition<\/em><\/a>‘s CE is $149.99, and while it has some impressive goodies, it doesn’t actually come with the game.<\/p>\n

This is a common trend of recent Collector’s Editions as of late, so it’s quite likely that many\u00a0Mass Effect: Legendary Edition<\/em> fans won’t be bothered by this exclusion. Regardless, the\u00a0Mass Effect: Legendary Edition<\/em> CE, called the Legendary Cache by BioWare<\/a>, does come with a metal case for players to store their game in if they decide to pick up the physical version. It also includes a Morality Spinner Pin, an N7 Acceptance Letter, two, canvas art prints, and a custom box to store it all.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Mass Effect\u00a0<\/em>art prints appear to be based on the\u00a0Mass Effect 3<\/em> female Shepard key art, as well as the franchise’s iconic Normandy ship<\/a>. The Morality Spinner Pin, meanwhile, is a pin that features the Paragon and Renegade icons on each side. For those that haven’t played\u00a0Mass Effect<\/em> recently, players are labeled Paragons if they do “good” actions, whereas Renegade was the label assigned to those who made “bad” choices in the game.<\/p>\n

The real star of the\u00a0Mass Effect<\/em> Legendary cache is the 1:1 scale replica of an N7 helmet<\/a>. More than a simple decoration, the N7 helmet can actually be worn. It also lights up and is accurate to how it appears in the\u00a0Mass Effect<\/em> games. Needless to say, it’s likely going to become a hot collector’s item for fans of the\u00a0Mass Effect<\/em> franchise.<\/p>\n
