Among this content are two new Exotic weapons, the Burst Quad Launcher and the Chug Cannon, and many players will undoubtedly be interested in giving them a try. The first step to doing this is to locate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>&#8216;s new Exotic weapons, and this guide is here to assist with exactly that.<\/p>\n<p>To put things simply, both of the Exotic weapons featured in the new update can be purchased from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-npc-locations-season-5\/\">NPCs in\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>. More specifically, the Burst Quad Launcher comes from Fishstick, while players can pickup the Chug Cannon from Remedy. For those fans that need more information on the precise locations of these two NPCs, a map and full details can be found below.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-npc-43-and-44-where-location-new-characters\/\">Fortnite: Where Are NPC 43 and 44<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/fortnite-new-exotics-map.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>FS1:\u00a0<\/strong>Fishstick can spawn inside of the restaurant at the north end of Craggy Cliffs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>FS2:\u00a0<\/strong>Fishstick can be spawn around Coral Castle, and players should look for him near the center of the location.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R1:\u00a0<\/strong>Remedy can spawn in the small house on top of the hill just northeast of Pleasant Park.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R2:\u00a0<\/strong>Remedy can spawn inside of a building at the southeast corner of Craggy Cliffs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Upon locating one of these NPCs, players should approach and press the input that displays onscreen to talk to them. Initiating this dialogue will cause a new menu to appear, and fans will find the option to purchase\u00a0the relevant\u00a0Exotic weapon there. Notably, both the Burst Quad Launcher and Chug Cannon cost 600 <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-gold-bars-what-do-use-for-spend-how-season-5\/\">Gold Bars in\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>, and players that have not been stockpiling this new currency may need to do a bit of farming.<\/p>\n<p>With respect to the function of these new <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-hop-rock-dualies-exotic-find-where\/\">Exotic weapons in <em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>, the Burst Quad Launcher has fairly straightforward offensive capabilities, shooting two explosives, each of which deal 42 damage, when fired. The Chug Cannon, on the other hand, is more of a utility weapon, restoring 15 Health or Shields to anyone in its blast area. While this effect will not always be extremely useful, it could have nice applications when playing with a Squad.<\/p>\n<p>To note, the Burst Quad Launcher and Chug Cannon are certainly not the only Exotic weapons that\u00a0players can purchase from NPCs this season.
