The indie farming sim\u00a0Ooblets\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>has released its Version 0.6 update for PC and Xbox players, bringing a new Wildlands area to the game as well as other locations and some quality-of-life upgrades.<\/p>\n

Ooblets<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is a quirky spin on the farming simulator genre. Players can grow plants from seeds that turn into Ooblets, which can later enter into\u00a0Pokemon-<\/em>like battles. However, instead of harming other Ooblets with attacks, the little creatures have dance battles with one another.\u00a0Ooblets\u00a0<\/em>is currently still in Early Access<\/a>, meaning it’s fully playable and many fans have great experiences with it, but it’s still somewhat unpolished. With the recent 0.6 update,\u00a0Ooblets\u00a0<\/em>inches a bit closer to a full version 1.0 release, slated for later this year.<\/p>\n

The Wildlands is an area of free roaming Ooblets, which used to be a system quickly thrown together last summer, according to developer Glumberland. It used to be an area to deposit excess or unwanted Ooblets in order to repopulate the area, but it was closed off to players.<\/p>\n
