However, a game-breaking glitch has already been discovered, killing the hype of some <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war\/\"><em>Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em><\/a> Zombies fans.<\/p>\n<p><em>Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> has experienced several bugs in all its modes, with the mode negatively impacted by COVID-19 and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-fans-better-quality-games-series-rotation-schedule\/\"><em>Call of Duty<\/em>\u2019s yearly release schedule<\/a>. While Zombies glitches have been less devastating overall, larger bugs have still shown up on a few occasions. Unfortunately, the latest issue is one of the worst yet, and it only happens on the game\u2019s brand-new Firebase Z map.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-duty-black-ops-cold-war-zombies-omega-group\/\">Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies &#8211; Who Is Omega Group?<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>While players may want to take on the map\u2019s new easter egg or survive into the high rounds with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-firebase-z-wonder-weapon-rifle\/\">the RAI-K 84 wonder weapon<\/a>, a new bug is ruining the experience for some players. As shown in a Reddit clip from Kwoppers, a player is training Zombies in Firebase Z\u2019s village location. While everything appears to be working as intended, things take a turn for the worst when Kwoppers falls through the map. Rather than continuing to plummet indefinitely, the player lands on a bit of floor below, looking up at Firebase Z.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/CODZombies\/comments\/lcbd5v\/loving_the_new_map\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=mweb\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While Kwoppers could kill himself and hope that his teammates survive the round, he would come back with no salvage and an un-upgraded weapon \u2014 making this bug game-breaking and terribly frustrating. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-zombies-tombstone-perk-tiers-explained\/\">The new Tombstone Perk<\/a> likely would not help, either, as the player\u2019s Tombstone would surely appear under the map upon respawning. Unable to reach the drop to reclaim their weaponry and resources, there seems to be no workaround for this annoying bug, meaning that players will have to wait for Treyarch to provide a fix.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time players have been seen <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-fall-through-map-floor-bug-glitch\/\">falling through the map<\/a> in <em>Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em>, as multiplayer fans have dropped through Moscow\u2019s floor on several occasions. However, it is a new bug for Zombies fans, as Die Maschine players were not seeing this kind of issue when <em>Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> launched. While Zombies fans have encountered XP glitches, armor station bugs, out of map exploits, and portal issues, this Firebase Z problem is one of the most game-breaking yet.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, Treyarch can deliver a patch for the issue as soon as possible, as a new map\u2019s launch day should be special for fans.
