The upcoming, blood-churning Resident Evil<\/em> series is only one of the many shows being released. Limited series, miniseries, and recurring shows of all genres will be guaranteed to keep you binging all year long.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re a fan of horror, fantasy, mystery, comedy, or just anything with a big name actor, 2021 is surely not going to disappoint.\u00a0It’s time to invest\u00a0in some new pajamas\u00a0and snuggly blankets because you’re going to be spending a lot of time on your couch this year.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>RESIDENT EVIL: Infinite Darkness<\/h2>\n

The series everyone is waiting for, RESIDENT EVIL<\/a>: Infinite Darkness<\/em>, is set to be released sometime this year. The upcoming\u00a0series will be produced Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi, who was also involved in the creation of\u00a0the\u00a0famous Resident Evil<\/em> series<\/a> from 2008 to 2017. The story will be focusing on the two popular characters, Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Though not much is revealed about the plot yet, Netflix announced<\/a> that the series will “reveal a Resident Evil<\/em> world unlike anything seen before.”<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>The Witcher, Season 2<\/h2>\n

After bringing a whole new group of fans to love the story of Geralt of Rivia, Netflix is bringing back the white haired wolf to the screen for the second season of The Witcher<\/em><\/a>. Filming for the second season<\/a> was delayed due to the rise of COVID-19, however, production continued in August 2020, so things are on track to be released by the end of 2021. Fans are beyond\u00a0excited\u00a0to see more of Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, and Jaskier sometime this year.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Shadow & Bone<\/h2>\n

Based on the books Shadow & Bone<\/em> and Six of Crows<\/em> by author Leigh Bardugo, this new fantasy thriller will follow the story of a young solider who possesses a magical power that she could use to unite her country.<\/p>\n

The heroine\u00a0must overcome dangerous threats to her life while also gaining control over her newfound powers. The new series is set to be released this spring, on April 23, 2021.<\/p>\n

The next season of one the most watched shows on all of Netflix is coming this year and fans cannot wait for it. The Duffer Brothers are back and are sure to rip out the hearts<\/a> of everyone who watches it, as they’ve done in the past seasons. Only minor Netflix teasers have been released so far, including a clip that reveals Hopper is alive and is being held captive and forced to work in Russia. After three seasons of speculation, Stranger Things<\/em><\/a> fans will likely get an explanation on what Russia truly wants with Hawkins and the connection to the Upside-Down.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Midnight Mass<\/h2>\n

Mike Flanagan, director of The Haunting of Hill House<\/em> and The Haunting of Bly Manor<\/em>, is released\u00a0yet another next horror series <\/a>with Netflix this year. This seven-episode series will follow the terrifying and miraculous encounters that a community faces\u00a0once a mysterious priest comes to town. In December 2020, Flanagan took to Twitter<\/a> to announce that filming had wrapped and that it was the “best production experience of his entire career.” That’s reason enough\u00a0to binge the upcoming show!<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Clickbait<\/h2>\n

Clickbait<\/em> serves to open the eyes of internet users across the globe, bringing light to the dangerously blurred line between real life and the internet. The eight episodes of the show will highlight\u00a0eight different\u00a0characters viewpoints of a crime that was committed\u00a0due to\u00a0toxic\u00a0social media.The American-Australian show will feature popular actors, including Betty Gabriel and Adrian Grenier.<\/p>\n
