Games\u00a0inspired by classical history are often big hits with fans, especially for Greek and Roman-inspired\u00a0games like\u00a0Total War: Rome II<\/em>, Ryse: Son of Rome<\/em><\/a>, or\u00a0Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey<\/em>. A new game inspired by Roman history, We Are Legion: Rome<\/em><\/strong>, has been announced for multiple platforms with a brand new cinematic trailer.<\/p>\n

We Are Legion: Rome<\/em>\u00a0is developed by Poland-based indie developer Titanite Games, known for releasing a\u00a0horror-drama visual novel called\u00a0Perseverance<\/em>\u00a0in 2018. Previously, this game was apparently being developed by Roman Soldiers Studio under the title\u00a0Roman Legionnaire<\/em>. <\/em>The game’s publisher, Gaming Factory,\u00a0seems to have cut ties with the developers to bring Titanite Games onto the project.<\/p>\n

This new cinematic trailer has been released to announce\u00a0We Are Legion: Rome\u00a0<\/em>is still in development. The game is a first-person adventure RPG where players take on the role of a Roman legionnaire who rises through the ranks. The events in the game\u00a0are inspired by the Gallic Wars military campaign lead by Julius Caesar, and players will take part in great battles and sieges.<\/p>\n
