Halo: The Master Chief Collection<\/em><\/strong> continues to receive support and content from 343 Industries years after its release. The collection has\u00a0various features for players to use alongside the original Halo<\/em> trilogy, and that includes\u00a0the Halo<\/em> Insider “flighting” development program. Halo: The Master Chief Collection<\/em><\/a> recently launched its fifth season, Anvil, and 343 Industries is already preparing more content.<\/p>\n

Recently, 343 Industries announced it is releasing the next public flight for Halo<\/a><\/em>\u00a0Insiders to test out\u00a0Halo: The Master Chief Collection<\/em>. This information comes from the latest development update,\u00a0which revealed\u00a0it will be adding various new features for Insiders to\u00a0test out. Some of the new features include\u00a0FOV slider support on all\u00a0Xbox One consoles, and the FOV slider will be unlocked for the Xbox Series X\/S. The public flight\u00a0will also be testing\u00a0mouse-and-keyboard support for\u00a0consoles.<\/p>\n

Console players all around might be able to use mouse-and-keyboard options while playing the Halo: The Master Chief Collection<\/em>\u00a0sometime soon based on this. The public flight will also include double keybindings, advance audio options, and view model customization options. On top of that there will be\u00a0a new Halo 3<\/em> map<\/a> from the canceled Halo Online<\/em>, and the Custom Game Browser feature that adds a new way for players to engage with others in Halo: The Master Chief Collection<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The developer said\u00a0that if all these changes\u00a0go smoothly, Halo<\/em> Insiders\u00a0can expect the next public flight to be released Thursday, February 18. The\u00a0developer recommended that members\u00a0update their Halo<\/em> Insider profile before the next public flight arrives. That said, 343 Industries adds that some of the features\u00a0in the next public flight may\u00a0be subject to change before it’s officially released, so Insiders\u00a0might need to keep an eye on what does and doesn’t make\u00a0it in.<\/p>\n

With all of the new features being added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection<\/em><\/a>, players could\u00a0have more\u00a0options when playing any of its games.\u00a0The developer is certainly trying to keep players engaged with Halo<\/em> content by heightening their\u00a0gameplay experience in Halo: The<\/em>\u00a0Master Chief Collection<\/em>. One of 343 Industries’ goals has been to maintain player engagement with the Halo<\/em> community, and the frequent public flights could help with that.<\/p>\n

When the public flight is released, Halo<\/em> Insiders will be able to experience the new features for themselves and provide their feedback.\u00a0While 343 Industries is continuing development on the upcoming Halo Infinite<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0Insiders can help with the development of other\u00a0Halo<\/em> content.<\/p>\n
