Stardew Valley<\/strong><\/em> is\u00a0still being regularly updated, and the newest update has added a variety of useful quality of life changes. The Stardew Valley<\/em> update 1.5<\/a> has added something called a Lost and Found box that will be useful to most players.<\/p>\n

The Lost and Found Box is used to collect\u00a0items that have been “lost” one way or another by the player. In the box, players can find items that were delivered for a special order that failed, item left behind during the Stardew Valley<\/em> Fair<\/a>‘s grange display, children’s hats that became doves, and items from offline players. Players can even find some quest items and tools that have been lost while playing.<\/p>\n

Previously, some items would be set down by a player’s bed while sleeping by Mayor Lewis, but some of these items were unable to be retrieved. Finally,\u00a0Stardew Valley<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>players can now recover just about everything.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, it is now very easy to locate the Lost and Found box and get those lost items back. Players can find the Lost and Found box inside of Mayor Lewis’ house. Once inside, it is located on the opposite side of the main room from the front door. It looks like a brown box without a top with a question mark over the top of it. Here is the location in the Mayor’s Manor:<\/p>\n

The fact that the Lost and Found Box is so accessible and easy-to-find is great for players, especially new ones. Losing tools and important items is one of the biggest mistakes new players make when they start Stardew Valley<\/em><\/a>. This will help players of all levels, however; there’s a reason why players have been asking for a Lost and Found box almost since\u00a0Stardew Valley\u00a0<\/em>released.<\/p>\n

In order to get any items back, players just need to head into the Mayor’s Manor, then use the interact button on the box. Any missing items that are eligible for the box will be found inside the day after it was lost.<\/p>\n

Since this is a feature of Stardew Valley<\/em>‘s Update 1.5<\/a>, players won’t have access to the Lost and Found\u00a0Box on Android or iOS. Update 1.5\u00a0was released in December 2020 on PC and this week on consoles, but has yet to arrive on mobile devices. There does not appear to be a timeline for its release just yet, so for now mobile\u00a0Stardew Valley\u00a0<\/em>players will have to be patient to get all the new features and quality of life updates.<\/p>\n

Stardew Valley<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.<\/p>\n
