The Emmy Award-winning animation duo and married couple behind Smallbu Animation hilariously (and accurately) recapped the first two seasons.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Mandalorian<\/em>, which takes place five\u00a0years\u00a0after the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/return-jedi-perfect-ending-skywalker-saga\/\"><em>Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and about 25 years before\u00a0<em>The Force Awakens<\/em>, finished airing its second season last December. The Jon Favreau produced series has received wide acclaim from both critics and audiences. It earned a Best Drama Series nomination at this year&#8217;s Golden Globes and became the first non-Netflix show ever to top the Nielsen streaming charts.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><b>RELATED<\/b><strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mandalorian-already-hit-peak\/\">Did The Mandalorian Already Hit Its Peak?<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Smallbu animated short starts by stating that the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) is \u201cthis guy\u201d who spends his time \u201changing out and hating on everyone.\u201d Eventually, he comes across \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/baby-yoda-future-star-wars\/\">muppet Baby Yoda<\/a>\u201d and is tasked with taking care of him. Baby Yoda is shown eating shoes and soccer balls while getting into hijinks at a construction site. Over time, the Mandalorian\u00a0bonds with Baby Yoda\u00a0and makes it his goal to find his adopted son\u2019s people. The two then meet &#8220;Ahsoka Clone Wars,\u201d who says Baby Yoda is a \u201cspecial guy for good reasons.\u201d However, she ends up refusing to train him because he is also full of hate. The clip concludes with the Mandalorian constantly being asked to complete favors in exchange for help.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SmallBuStudio\/status\/1354850451745869824\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Butera family, who are the co-creators of web series titled\u00a0<em>Baman Piderman<\/em>\u00a0and have previously worked for Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney, couldn\u2019t have been more accurate in their depiction of the Lucasfilm series. At this time, their video has amassed over 217,000 views on Twitter alone.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Mandalorian<\/em> ended its second season with Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) stating that Din Djarin is the rightful owner of the Darksaber and ruler of Mandalore. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/bo-katan-villain-mandalorian-season-3\/\">Bounty Hunter Bo-Katan<\/a> had sought to reclaim the Darksaber after losing the weapon to Gideon, but she could not accept it from Din Djarin unless she defeated him in combat.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/mandalorian-luke-skywalker-mark-hamill-grogu-jedi-future\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a young Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill)<\/a> saves Grogu (Baby Yoda) from the Dark Troopers and takes him away to be trained in the ways of the force.
