At the end of\u00a0the\u00a0Star Wars<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0sequel\u00a0<\/strong>trilogy, Rey’s story was concluded<\/a> when she made it known that she was a Skywalker. As she gazed at Tatooine’s two suns in the final scene, audiences were convinced that would be the last time they would ever see the Force-sensitive heroine. But never say never – in a recent conversation with bestselling author Sarah Wilson, Daisy Ridley said she hasn’t completely ruled out returning to the series and\u00a0reprising the role.<\/p>\n

Wilson took to Twitter to share snippets of their discussion, during which she asked Ridley if she would still be open to returning to the\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0<\/em>as Rey. Previous reports had said she was done with the series altogether, but Ridley explained that such claims were taken out of context and that she’d gladly suit up as Rey again, given the opportunity. “It’s not like… I’m like no more Star Wars,” she added.<\/p>\n

That said,\u00a0Wilson also said Ridley felt “the ending was complete” and that she “was happy with it,” which could be a hint that the sequel trilogy will not be revived or extended, at least in the near future. Yet, despite the unlikelihood,\u00a0rumors continue to spread that a reboot is in the works<\/a>\u00a0as a Disney Plus series. Star Wars<\/em> leaker Doomcock recently reported that Disney could be looking into creating three ten-episode series based on\u00a0The Force Awakens,\u00a0<\/em>The Last Jedi,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Rise of Skywalker.<\/em><\/p>\n
