Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em><\/strong> and Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em> are gearing up for a brand new season while Season 1 is starting to wrap up.\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War <\/em>Season 2<\/a>\u00a0will be adding some\u00a0new content to the game, including new weapons such as\u00a0the crossbow, mini-gun, and more. Before it arrives, there’s still Season 1 content on its way into the game.<\/p>\n

In a recent weekly update, Activision revealed the latest\u00a0Season 1 multiplayer content being released this week for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/a><\/em>\u00a0before Season 2 launches. Including the debut of Throwback Moshpit with some classic maps returning\u00a0and the\u00a0Snipers Only Moshpit 6v6 competition. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> will also add a\u00a0new\u00a0bundle this week called Retro Renegades, available starting\u00a0Thursday, February 18.<\/p>\n

The Retro Renegade bundle will be bringing\u00a0the 80s to\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em><\/a>, at least as far as the design style. The first part of the bundle’s content comes with\u00a0two new weapon blueprints, including a sky blue SMG Delta called the Tape Deck with a colorful “jazzercise trim;” and the Fast Tempo, an Assault\u00a0Rifle Echo that’s “built for speed.” It also comes with two more legendary items, the first being the “Forward Progress” watch and the second is the “Mixtape” Charm.<\/p>\n

The new bundle will also come with several other items:\u00a0the \u201cRetro Vision\u201d Sticker, the \u201cLove Link\u201d Calling Card, the\u00a0\u201cRetro\u201d Vehicle Horn, and the Base Vehicle Skin \u201cRenegade.\u201d\u00a0The developers\u00a0are leaning on an 80s-heavy style for the\u00a0bundle’s content, which fits with the game taking place in the early 1980s. Players will be able to get into the vibe this week with the new bundle and the rest of the Season 1 content.<\/p>\n

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> will also be adding\u00a0the\u00a0Throwback Moshpit playlist<\/a>\u00a0in Season 1 this week. It\u00a0will feature the return of three\u00a0fan-favorite maps: Raid, Express, and Nuketown ’84. Players will be able to enjoy these returning maps, as well as a variety of respawn modes\u00a0for the whole week. There will also be another Double XP event starting this weekend that is launching with Double Battle Pass XP.<\/p>\n

The Double XP event\u00a0will go live<\/a>\u00a0in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em>\u00a0at 10:00 a.m. PT this February 22, along with Week 2 of Call of Duty<\/em> League starting Thursday. Call of Duty<\/em> players still have a lot to look forward to\u00a0before Season 2 launches on February 25.<\/p>\n

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em><\/strong> is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X\/S.<\/p>\n
