Announced at today’s Nintendo Direct,\u00a0Outer Wilds\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>will launch for the Switch this summer, bringing the 22-minute time looping adventure to Nintendo’s hit console.<\/p>\n

Not to be confused with\u00a0<\/a>The Outer Worlds<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>another renowned title that released in 2019,\u00a0Outer Wilds\u00a0<\/em>launched to high critical acclaim. Taking place in an alternate reality, players assume the role of an unnamed astronaut that is tasked with finding the Eye of the Universe before the universe ends. The sun, along with every other star in the universe, is going supernova, setting the game into a 22-minute loop.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the long-awaited Nintendo Direct that premiered on February 17<\/a>, players can expect\u00a0Outer Wilds\u00a0<\/em>on the Nintendo Switch this summer. Though a release date or price for\u00a0Mobius’ time-loop game was not announced, the game went for $24.99 at its original launch. Additionally, it doesn’t look like any new features will be added to the Switch version of\u00a0Outer Wilds<\/em>.<\/p>\n
