With each passing episode, fans are becoming more suspicious of Evan Peters\u2019 character and are convinced that it is in fact Mephisto, the devil of the Marvel Comics world. To add to the conversation, artist Raf Grassetti shared his take on what the Marvel Cinematic Universe&#8217;s version of Mephisto could look like in an image shared on his social media channels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The art, designed by Grassetti<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0shows Peters\u2019 Pietro as the devil incarnate. It seems like\u00a0the <i>God of War <\/i>art director is also a fan of\u00a0<em>WandaVision<\/em>, with him expressing his love for the show in the Instagram post&#8217;s caption, referring to it\u00a0as &#8220;the best surprise this year so far.&#8221; As he looks forward to what the show has to offer, Grassetti does however seem to be in on the Mephisto theory and hopes to &#8220;see more of him soon&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\" style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-billy-tommy-series\/\">WandaVision: Billy And Tommy Might Not Make It Out Of The Series<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While Peters&#8217; character\u2019s signature hairstyle remains intact in Grassetti&#8217;s portrait of Mephisto, with his features also similar to those of Peters&#8217;, the red skin and armor are what stand out in the portrait. Lounging on his throne, the demonic overlord has a smirk on his face, as if confirming that he has something up his sleeve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CLSYu9yBf0H\/\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Peters <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-marvel-fan-favorite-return\/\">first made an appearance<\/a> on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WandaVision<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Episode 5, &#8220;On A Very Special Episode&#8230;&#8221;. Reprising his role as Quicksilver from the 20th Century Fox\u2019s X-Men film franchise, Peters immediately <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-pietro-answers\/\">became a topic of conversation<\/a> amongst MCU fans. Several theories erupted online of how Pietro was alive, as fans saw him die in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avengers: Age of Ultron<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and why he suddenly looked like the X-Men version of Wanda\u2019s brother. Fans wondered if he was finally <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-marvel-admit-mcu-x-men\/\">initiating a connection between<\/a> the X-Men and the MCU following Disney\u2019s acquisition of Fox or is he just the devil playing with Wanda\u2019s mind.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the conversation was ongoing, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WandaVision <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dropped another twister on Episode 7, \u201cBreaking the Fourth Wall\u201d. Another popular fan theory was put to rest when it was confirmed that Agnes was in fact \u201cAgatha all along\u201d. She <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-episode-7-agatha-harkness\/\">admits to being Agatha Harkness<\/a>, an extremely powerful witch that appears in the comics. Her truth also brings back the original fan theory of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WandaVision<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> following <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-marvels-house-m-isnt-reality-bending-story\/\">the <em>House of M<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">storyline, in which Agatha reveals to Wanda that her twins were created from a piece of Mephisto&#8217;s soul.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, it all comes back to the demon Mephisto and the question remains whether he will be making the much-awaited appearance on the series. But, how does that connect to Pietro? After Wanda comes face-to-face with Agatha at the end of the seventh episode, things don\u2019t end there. The <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/wandavision-episode-7-post-credits-monica-quicksilver-explained\/\">first post-credit scene in the season<\/a> is revealed, with Monica Rambeau, who is back in Westview, snooping outside Agatha&#8217;s home and having a surprise encounter with Pietro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The MCU tradition of a post-credit scene works as\u00a0the perfect cliffhanger\u00a0after the shocking episode. A few simple words uttered by Pietro, \u201csnoopers gonna snoop,\u201d have once again left fans labeling him as the big bad villain, albeit in disguise. While fans are now even more convinced <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/wandavision-funko-evan-peters-pietro-fake\/\">that Pietro is a fake<\/a>, it remains to be seen if the most popular fan theory will end up being true.
