This fresh influx of players has renewed interest in the game and led to fans asking if there will be more content\u00a0on social media.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/jurassic-world-evolution-switch-review\/\">Jurassic World Evolution Switch Review<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a surprise to many, the official social media accounts for <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/jurassic-world-evolution\/\">Jurassic World Evolution<\/a><\/em>\u00a0responded, saying \u201cthe <em>Jurassic World Evolution <\/em>team is still hard at work,\u201d and that a reveal of what Frontier has been working on will come \u201clater this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JW_Evolution\/status\/1361986963612585986?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Whether that means more DLC or a full sequel remains to be seen. The first game released in June 2018 alongside <em>Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom<\/em>, the second entry in the Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard-led sequel trilogy. It could be that there is a sequel coming alongside <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/jurassic-world-dominion-conclude-all-movies\/\">Jurassic World: Dominion<\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/jurassic-world-dominion-conclude-all-movies\/\">, intended to be the series&#8217; sixth and final movie<\/a>. <em>Dominion <\/em>was originally supposed to release this summer but was delayed to June 10, 2022 due to production issues related to COVID-19.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Jurassic-World-Evolution-Developer-Confirms-More-Content-in-Development.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>There is also the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/netflix-jurassic-world-cartoon\/\">Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous <\/a><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/netflix-jurassic-world-cartoon\/\">animated series on Netflix<\/a>, which is likely to receive a third season later this year. It is possible that the <em>Jurassic World Evolution <\/em>Twitter account is teasing a DLC based on the series, which has proven to be popular among hardcore <em>Jurassic <\/em>fans. The second season of the show teases a new genetic hybrid dinosaur, which would be a perfect fit for another DLC. Though a near two-year gap between the last DLC and when this hypothetical new DLC could be announced makes a sequel sound far more likely.<\/p>\n<p>As for when Frontier will reveal what it has been working on, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/jurassic-world-evolution-gamescom-2017\/\">the original <em>Jurassic World Evolution <\/em>was announced at Gamescom 2017<\/a>.
