Over the past tens of years it has steadily rose in popularity, with <em>Shin Megami Tensei 4<\/em> being the most recent non-remake main series release. The series has also received several popular spin-offs in the form of the famous <em>Persona<\/em> franchise. Now, Atlus has announced an online <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/shin-megami-tensei\/\">Shin Megami Tensei<\/a><\/em> concert for all fans.<\/p>\n<p>As with <em>Persona<\/em>, <em>Shin Megami Tensei<\/em> is in-part worshiped due to its stellar soundtrack. The franchise has hundreds of songs in its repertoire. Japanese composers Shoji Meguro, Kenichi Tsuchiya and Toshiko Tasaki are among a few of the genius writers behind the music featured in the series. Announced in 2017, <em>Shin Megami Tensei<\/em> is also set to release a brand-new game this year titled <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/shin-megami-tensei-3-remaster-switch-smt5-2021\/\">Shin Megami Tensei 5<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/best-shin-megami-tensei-persona-games-metacritic-ranked\/\">10 Best Shin Megami Tensei Games (According To Metacritic)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In an official tweet earlier today, Atlus West announced that they would be hosting a <em>Shin Megami Tensei<\/em> concert. The performance is scheduled for March 19th EST and will feature a live orchestra playing tracks from several instalments in the series. The event appears to be a promotion for the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/shin-megami-tensei-3-remaster-release-date-leak-rumor\/\">HD remaster of <em>Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne<\/em><\/a>, which has recently released in Japan and will soon follow suite in the US and other English-speaking countries. The concert will not be translated, but it is available for viewing by English audiences. Tickets cost 3,666 yen which is approximately equivalent to $37 USD. In addition, the latest version of either Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari is also required for viewing the concert. Thankfully, there is a test stream available for users to check if they will be able to view the performance before purchasing.<\/p>\n<p>Atlas has done other such concerts in the past for the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/persona-series-music-soundtrack-impact\/\">widely celebrated music of the <em>Shin Megami Tensei<\/em><\/a> series, even holding concerts for its spin offs like in\u00a02019 with the in-person \u201c<em>Persona<\/em> Super Live\u201d concert in Ry\u014dgoku Sumo Hall. <em>Shin Megami Tensei<\/em> has also had previous concerts, the most recent being a sold out show in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Fans of the series, especially US fans are sure to be excited to have a way to view the performance along with fans from Japan. Though the performance will not be translated, music requires very little translation. The <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/persona-5-strikers-english-dub-recorded-remotely-due-covid-19\/\">online concert is a nice way of being safe from COVID-19<\/a> while still connecting fans from all over the globe. Still, the pricing of the performance is slightly more than the cost of the 2019 in-person concert.
