Many are happy just to buy and wear merchandise, but that isn\u2019t good enough for everyone. A few engage in <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-fan-knitting-every-pokeball-real-life\/\">epic gaming knitting projects<\/a>, while some go for something more permanent. And short of pulling a Robin Williams and naming their child after a game character, that means a tattoo.<\/p>\n<p>While some fans go low-key with their body decoration, others go all in. This includes Reddit user dreadwolfmma, a <strong><em>Dragon Age<\/em><\/strong> fan who recently showed off his brand new and incredibly detailed Solas sleeve tattoo.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-age-4-inquisition-story\/\">Dragon Age Inquisition Raises the Stakes for DA4 in One Regard<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Even\u00a0those who aren\u2019t into tattoos and don\u2019t care at all about <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/Dragon%20Age\/\">Dragon Age<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>will likely find\u00a0this thing\u00a0to be\u00a0a work of art. The tattoo stretches from the Reddit user\u2019s shoulder to his wrist and is extremely detailed. It shows <em>Dragon Age\u2019s<\/em> Solas decked out in ornate armor. Solas\u2019s left-hand summons a ball of fire, and the right grips a magical staff recognizable from the <em>Dragon Age<\/em> games. But the most interesting featured is Solas\u2019 wolf headdress. Inspired by the Dread Wolf artwork from the 2018 <em>Dragon Age 4<\/em> teaser trailer, it\u2019s hard to tell if Solas is wearing the wolf or being devoured by it. The design brilliantly encapsulates Solas\u2019 character as he struggles with his Dread Wolf alter ego.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/dragonage\/comments\/lowjx9\/no_spoilers_finished_and_healed_solas_sleeve\/\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Few characters can divide a fanbase as effectively as <em>Dragon Age\u2019s<\/em> Solas. Introduced in <em>Dragon Age: Inquisition<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-age-dread-wolf-details-trivia\/\">Solas initially appears to be nothing more than a humble hedge mage<\/a>. However, astute players will notice that not everything he says adds up. This comes to a head in the <em>Trespasser<\/em> DLC, which reveals Solas to be the ancient Elven \u201cgod\u201d of betrayal.<\/p>\n<p>Finding out who they had been running around with was a big enough shock for most players. Subsequently learning the full scope and nature of his plans was enough to turn him into <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-age-4-solas-backstory-dread-wolf-big-bad-guy\/\">an outright <em>Dragon Age<\/em> villain<\/a> for some. But not everyone feels that way. Some believe the character can and should be redeemed, with a few even arguing his goals are 100 percent justified.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s probably reasonable to guess that dreadwolfmma is firmly in the pro-Solas camp. Unfortunately, he and all the other <em>Dragon Age<\/em> fans are still waiting to see how the saga unfolds. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/bioware-games-news-2021-dragon-age-mass-effect\/\">BioWare is hard at work<\/a> on <em>Dragon Age 4<\/em>, but a finished product remains a long way off.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-age-4-release-date\/\">2018 rumors hinted at a planned 2021 release date<\/a>, but that seems unlikely given COVID delays and other setbacks.
