Now is an exciting time for fans of Super Smash Bros Ultimate<\/strong><\/em>, and not just for the obvious reasons one would expect. While the new fighters Pyra & Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2<\/em><\/a> are coming soon, Nintendo has also confirmed that Bravely Default 2<\/em> spirits are coming to the game.<\/p>\n

The official Japanese Twitter account for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em><\/a> confirmed these spirits will be available on February 26th, 2021, the exact same day that Bravely Default 2<\/em>\u00a0releases<\/a>. Starting then, players will be able to encounter these on the Spirit Board and partake in a battle to unlock the artwork. If this event is anything like the previous few, these spirits will only be available for a limited time, but will eventually be permanently available through the in-game shop.<\/p>\n

The official image may show four different characters, but the accompanying description clarifies that this event will only add two spirits. This means that each spirit will contain two characters; Seth & Gloria for one, and Adelle & Elvis for the other. This is a similar format to the Octopath Traveler <\/em>spirit event from last year, a fitting match considering the Octopath<\/em> development team created the first two Bravely Default<\/em> games<\/a>.<\/p>\n
