Ultimate<\/strong> <\/em>with their recent Nintendo Direct announcement of Pyra and Mythra coming to the game. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/super-smash-bros-ultimate\/\"><em>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em><\/a> fans have been abuzz with excitement since the announcement showed that Nintendo are still devoted to its <em>Smash Bros.<\/em> audience. Now, a <em>Cowboy Bebop<\/em> fan has given S<em>mash Bros.<\/em> enthusiasts something else to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p>The first <em>Smash Bros.<\/em> game released in 1999, roughly one year after the first episode of <em>Cowboy Bebop<\/em> aired. That is not the only parallel between the two IPs though. <em>Cowboy Beebop\u2019s<\/em> US publisher, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-switch-goku-funimation\/\">Funimation has been publicly hounding Nintendo<\/a> for some time to include one of its characters in <em>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>. Nintendo also own shares in Bandai Namco, the sister company to Bandai Visual, the company that <em>Cowboy Bebop<\/em> director, Shinichir\u014d Watanabe credits as the reason the show was produced. So <em>Smash Bros.<\/em> and <em>Cowboy Bebop<\/em> have almost met several times, yet never collided.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-ultimate-bravely-default-2-spirits\/\">Bravely Default 2 Spirits are Coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A YouTuber by the name of \u201charthur\u201d has stepped up to change that though. The <em>Smash Bros.<\/em> and <em>Cowboy Bebop<\/em> fan has married the two IPs with a gorgeous recreation of the <em>Cowboy Bebop<\/em> opening. The reimagining is put together with<em> Smash Bros.<\/em> visuals, perfectly synched up and stylized to look like the original <em>Cowboy Bebop<\/em> opening. Perhaps the best thing about the recreation is the effort the creator put into remaking the placement and style of all text for the opening. The video replaces the original versions production credits with introductions of <em>Smash Bros.<\/em> characters. It features several humorous introductions, including: Fox \u201cMy Name Isn\u2019t Starfox\u201d McCloud, Falco \u201cCall Him Starfox. It\u2019s really funny\u201d Lombardi, and \u201cSlave to Capitalism\u201d Olimar.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EDeSbfGKKtM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Smash Bros.<\/em> fan content is certainly nothing new. Nintendo is known for its devoted fanbase due to its all-ages gaming content raising children to be Nintendo fans from a young age. Just a couple weeks ago a fan made an <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/nintendo-switch-fan-designed-mario-game-cases\/\">ultra-creative <em>Mario<\/em> themed case for their switch games<\/a>. However, Nintendo are not always appreciative of fan content. In early January, the company ordered the DMCA take down of more than 300 Nintendo themed games fans had made.<\/p>\n<p>Still, so long as Nintendo does not place a take down order on this video, it is sure to delight fans of both series. It is likely the reimagining will soon have fans rallying for Spike in <em>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>, as they have done with many <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-ultimate-dlc-characters-crash-bandicoot\/\">fan favorite characters like Crash Bandicoot<\/a>.\u00a0Devoted fans might find some of the character digs in the video a little too poignant. However, overall, it is an awesome mash up of the two series.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Super Smash Bros.
