World of Warcraft<\/em> is unique among MMOs for its unparalleled silliness. While the lore of the\u00a0Warcraft<\/em> franchise is usually serious\u00a0and complex, Blizzard doesn’t mind throwing in a bit of lighthearted fun into the mix \u2013\u00a0while it might not work in MMOs with realistic graphics<\/a>, the humor definitely pairs well with the cartoonish, colorful world of Azeroth.<\/p>\n

It’s become somewhat expected of Blizzard to include a new “poop” quest with every expansion, for example, but that’s really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to\u00a0World of Warcraft<\/em>‘s hilarious experiences.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>The Day That Deathwing Came (Both)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Perhaps one of the most famous quests in an RPG ever, let alone an MMORPG, this quest tasks the player\u00a0to listen to various retellings of a group’s encounter with Deathwing.\u00a0Each member of the three-person party<\/a> has a different way of remembering what happened \u2013 and none of them seem quite… accurate, to say the least. In fact, their claims are totally ridiculous.<\/p>\n

This quest can be found in the southern Badlands at level 15 \u2013 look for a gnome, a dwarf, and an orc standing\u00a0on top of a small hill.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>The Lunk Questline (Both)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Lunk is unique among ogres in\u00a0World of Warcraft<\/em>\u00a0because he is a pacifist. While the quests he offers the player\u00a0say<\/em> to slay monsters, Lunk has a different way of going about things and abandons the player for a short time after watching them go on a killing spree<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If watching an ogre mount a spider or “request” machine parts from roaming war golems sounds fun, look for Lunk near the Thorium Advance in the Searing Gorge.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>It’s Goat Time, Baby (Both)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Players who support virtual animal rights might want to avoid this one. This quest tasks the player to solve the local goat problem in Fuselight, but it doesn’t involve anything humane like a quick death. Instead, the player “nudges” the goats off of their high perches atop the local hills with a Billy Goat Blaster.<\/p>\n

Look for Garyanne Fleezlebop in Fuselight in the northern Badlands, and complete\u00a0the\u00a0“When The Going Gets Tough, Cheat” prerequisite quest.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Welcome To The\u00a0Machine (Horde)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

In the\u00a0Cataclysm<\/em> expansion<\/a>, players finally had the chance to see the world of Azeroth from a wholly new perspective: as an NPC quest giver. The player is given three orders to disperse to local “players” named Dumass, Johnny Awesome, and Kingslayer Orkus.<\/p>\n

The stereotypical “players” poke fun at\u00a0World of Warcraft<\/em> players, and it’s a must-do for any Horde player in the Hillsbrad Foothills. Plus, it only has a level 7 requirement and can be picked up right outside the exit to Silverpine Forest.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Mmm… Amberseeds! (Alliance)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Easily disgusted players turn away now \u2013 this quest is not for the faint of stomach. The player comes across a batch of delicious nuts and sets out to discover where they come from. After a short series of quests, the player makes has what some might call a crappy realization.<\/p>\n

World of Warcraft <\/em>is infamous for its poop quests, and this one takes the cake for perhaps being the crudest. Look for Master Woodsman Anderhol near Amberpine Lodge in Grizzly Hills to start this quest.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>AHHHHHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHHH!!! (Alliance)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

While this quest is part of a long quest chain, it’s well worth experiencing at least once.\u00a0World of Warcraft<\/em> doesn’t shy away from pop culture references, and the character John J Keeshan is a bonafide Rambo reference if there ever was one. The player is tasked with clearing an invading force of orcs<\/a>, but ultimately John J Keeshan mows down hundreds of them without any assistance, screaming the entire time.<\/p>\n

Start this quest chain in the Redridge Mountains at level 7 if playing alongside a crazed soldier sounds like a good way to spend a few hours.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Peacebloom VS Ghouls (Both)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Speaking of pop culture references in\u00a0World of Warcraft<\/em>, this quest is a direct reference to Plants vs Zombies, the popular mobile game. The player is tasked with stopping wave after wave of zombies from destroying the Brazie Farmstead using sunflowers, spitters, freezing plants, and other botanical marvels.<\/p>\n

This quest can be picked up\u00a0just below the Dalaran Crater\u00a0in Hillsbrad Foothills<\/a>, but be prepared for a short questline that gets harder with each step.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>The Maximillian Questline (Alliance)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Maximillian is a bit of an overzealous paladin\u00a0who\u00a0uses\u00a0over-the-top chivalrous phrases, like a character in\u00a0Monty Python and the Holy Grail<\/em>. The player\u00a0becomes his squire, rescues damsels in distress, and assists his quest to defeat a mighty dragon.<\/p>\n

His overzealousness gets to him<\/a> when the player and Maximillian eventually find the beast \u2013 he freaks out and tells the player to, “Just throw rocks at it or something! I have no plan!” Look for Maximillian on the western side of Un’Goro Crater at level 15 to start his hilarious questline.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Waptor Twapping (Horde)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Waptor Twapping is a quest that directly references the Looney Tunes character Elmer Fudd and his mannerisms. The player is sent out to turn raptors into Wittle Waptors by shrinking them down to a “less dangewous” size with a Waptor Twap.<\/p>\n

The quest text is hilarious and certainly a nice spin on the “go here, kill this” type of quest. Look for Kala’ma in the Northern Barrens to start this quest at level 5 \u2013 it’s wewwy easy!<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>A Wee Bit O’ Cloth (Both)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

There’s an abundance of poop quests in\u00a0World of Warcraft<\/em> \u2013 too many, some say \u2013 but the funniest has to be this. The player comes across an outhouse containing a dwarf who has a particular problem \u2013 there’s no toilet paper. Surrounded by cultists, the dwarf is too afraid to go out on his own. He tasks the player with finding “a wee bit o’ cloth” for his “wee drop-off” at the outhouse.<\/p>\n

Look for the outhouse just\u00a0north of\u00a0the Twilight Outpost in Silithus at level 45 to help a dwarf with his most primal needs.<\/p>\n
