The open-world adventure is\u00a0a mystery fans are eager to crack, however, it seems one lucky player\u00a0will have the opportunity to design their own character to star in it.<\/p>\n<p>Revealed via the company&#8217;s Twitter account, Bethesda will be auctioning\u00a0off an Xbox Series X with 16 games, as well as the opportunity for one lucky fan to design their own\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/starfield\/\">Starfield<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>character that will eventually make its way into the final experience. The winner&#8217;s money will go towards the Make-A-Wish foundation, which is a non-profit charity that supports children with critical illnesses by helping them fulfill life-long wishes.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/bethesda-2021-expect-elder-scrolls-6-starfield-skyrim-fallout\/\">What to Expect from Bethesda in 2021<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The highest bid for the bundle is currently $6,200 at the time of writing, with the auction set to end on February 28. Entrants must be from the US to be eligible to bid. As for the\u00a0<em>Starfield\u00a0<\/em>package,\u00a0the highest bidder will get the opportunity to work with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fallout-76-let-down-todd-howard\/\">Todd Howard<\/a> and his team pretty soon after the auction is complete, with its description promising Bethesda &#8220;will schedule time to create the character within 3 months&#8221; of February 28. It&#8217;s definitely a fun opportunity for the lucky fan, with the winner able to leave their mark on the latest Bethesda Game Studios&#8217; world.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BethesdaStudios\/status\/1364312403144499209\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As for the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-games-with-gold-march-2021-bad\/\">Xbox Series X<\/a> part of the package, players will get the console alongside a variety of Bethesda&#8217;s biggest games, including\u00a0<em>Doom Eternal, Skyrim, Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Rage 2, Prey, Wolfenstein: The New Order,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>The Evil Within 2.\u00a0<\/em>It&#8217;s a solid bundle that&#8217;s sure to offer any player a considerable library of games to kickstart their adventure on the Xbox Series X. Seeing as next-generation consoles are also difficult to come across these days, it&#8217;s no doubt going to be a lucrative offer in of itself.<\/p>\n<p>However, the\u00a0<em>Starfield\u00a0<\/em>opportunity is what most players will find tantalizing, especially considering the game is currently so heavily under wraps.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/starfield-bethesda-reveal-e3-2018\/\">The title was first unveiled back in 2018<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0alongside the full reveal of\u00a0<em>Fallout 76\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>The Elder Scrolls 6 \u2013\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0looks to be an expansive, space-focused RPG, with the trailer teasing lightspeed travel, various planets, and giant space crafts. The leaked images that dropped late last year appeared to also shine a light on survival mechanics, with the HUD featuring oxygen levels.
