However, a delay in news on\u00a0<strong>PS Plus<\/strong>, specifically with the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps-plus-free-games-march-2021-wish-list\/\">free PS4 and PS5 titles for March<\/a>, has some players wondering what is taking so long to roll out the update.<\/p>\n<p>Considering that these announcements generally arrive on in the final week of any given month, many players have expected to already see what free games <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/playstation-plus\/\">PS Plus<\/a> is planning for its next wave of titles. As a result, fans have quickly begun gathering across Twitter, Reddit, and other forums for this type of discussion to share memes and &#8220;leaks&#8221; in anticipation for what might be arriving in\u00a0March.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps-plus-free-games-february-2021-march\/\">PS Plus Free Games for February 2021 Present a Big Challenge for March<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The guesses for what is to come range from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/rumor-final-fantasy-7-remake-one-free-ps-plus-games-march-2021\/\">2019&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Final Fantasy 7 Remake<\/em><\/a>\u00a0to more launch titles similar to February&#8217;s release of\u00a0<em>Destruction Allstars<\/em> that premiered the game for free on PS5 for PS Plus members. However, for the time being, much of this is speculation, even if there are a few fairly convincing mock-ups spreading across the internet from fans either making educated guesses or throwing out complete wild cards. One of these &#8220;leaks&#8221; that has caught up a bit of steam includes the PS5 launch title\u00a0<em>Godfall<\/em> appearing at the same time as a PS4\/PS5 dual release for\u00a0<em>Kena: Bridge of Spirits<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HTJarvis94\/status\/1364594885106483200\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AntoMolloy0\/status\/1364628470265954306\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kibummys\/status\/1364697677255090178\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Other fans are assuming that this delay is caused simply by\u00a0the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/playstation-state-of-play-february-2021-ps5-ps4\/\">State of Play on February 25<\/a>,\u00a0which may be where Sony intends to make the official announcement for PS Plus. This could mean a few things, such as the state of the free games across the subscription service changing, or the possibility of a title receiving a surprise launch in the beginning of March. There are a couple of titles, the suspected\u00a0<em>Kena<\/em>\u00a0among them, that have a foggy Q1 release date that could fit with another PS Plus launch meant to push both the subscription service and the PS5.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FarCryLegion\/status\/1364612747238010890\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PersonaSpeaks\/status\/1364610201626816514\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PSSourceVids\/status\/1364735428989911044\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Most players have quickly come to the conclusion that the lack of an announcement must mean that there are big plans for the upcoming State of Play. However, &#8220;big plans&#8221; can mean quite a few things, so while this could mean that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps-plus-ps5-games-launch-day-plans\/\">PS Plus members will get more launch titles<\/a>, that isn&#8217;t exactly set in stone for the moment.
