The last year has seen\u00a0PlayStation\u00a0port over several of its exclusive game titles to the PC, and now Days Gone<\/em><\/strong> will be joining the list this year. Days Gone<\/em> will be coming to PC<\/a>\u00a0sometime this spring for PC players to enjoy, according to an interview with\u00a0Jim Ryan from\u00a0PlayStation.<\/p>\n

Coinciding with the\u00a0PC launch, Days Gone<\/em><\/a> has received its own Steam page, which comes with a description for the game. The game description reveals the PC system specs\u00a0needed to run the game, listing the minimum and recommended system requirements.\u00a0Despite the\u00a0information, the\u00a0Steam page doesn’t provide details\u00a0on the game’s precise\u00a0release date this spring.<\/p>\n

According to the Steam page, the game’s PC system requirements will not be too draining for PC users. The game’s OS requirement is a\u00a0Windows 10 64-bit operating system.\u00a0The minimum PC requirements include an\u00a0Intel Core i5-2500K or\u00a0AMD FX 6300 for processing, 8 GB of RAM, and an\u00a0Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 or\u00a0AMD Radeon R9 290 for graphics. The recommended requirements include an Intel Core\u00a0i7-4770K or\u00a0Ryzen 5 1500X, with 16 GB of RAM, and either an\u00a0Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or\u00a0AMD Radeon RX 580.<\/p>\n

Despite the mixed reception\u00a0Days Gone<\/a><\/em>\u00a0received from critics, the game does possess some striking graphics that make the zombie game look good. PC players will also need an SSD to use for storage to run the game at\u00a0either\u00a0minimum and recommend. Along with the PC specs, the Steam version of the game will receive additional PC features when it releases.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0includes ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked frame rates, and improved graphics that come with an increased level of details, field of view, and foliage draw distances. Based on the specs, modern gaming PCs will be able to support the game upon Days Gone’s<\/em>\u00a0PC release<\/a>. While Days Gone<\/em> will be porting to the PC, it’s hinted by Jim Ryan that there could be other exclusives that do the same.<\/p>\n

A handful of PS4 exclusive titles were ported to PC last year, including\u00a0Death Stranding<\/em> and\u00a0Horizon Zero Dawn<\/em><\/a>, and according to Ryan, there was no significant “adverse reaction” from the PlayStation community at the time. Of course, that doesn’t mean that all of the exclusive titles will be\u00a0ported to PC. But the possibility remains open for some\u00a0PlayStation exclusives to cross over to PC in the future.<\/p>\n

For the time being, players who enjoyed the zombie game on consoles\u00a0can look forward to its arrival on PC this spring. With the new information provided on Steam, PC players looking to play Days Gone<\/em> will be able to make the necessary setup before its upcoming release.<\/p>\n
