Another episode of\u00a0WandaVision<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>has come and gone, and with it comes that brief window of opportunity to discuss theories before the next installment blows it all out of the water (as well as enjoying that catchy song that came with the latest big reveal<\/a>). This week, one such area of speculation involves S.W.O.R.D. Agent Monica Rambeau and her intrepid journey back into the Hex. More specifically, what will be the ultimate result of all that rewriting her body has gone through?<\/p>\n

Well, Monica’s actress herself, Teyonah Parris, has weighed in on the issue, at least as much as she can without ruining the surprise. After all,\u00a0WandaVision<\/em> is nothing if not cryptic. While audiences have already gotten a taste of Monica’s powers in the form of glowy eyes and a really solid superhero landing that would make Deadpool<\/a> proud, that clearly won’t be the extent of what she can do.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel on his late night show, Parris discussed Monica’s powers, not just in the show, but in the comics as well. “We get a taste of the fact that there is something that is changed,” she said, “and we have to stay tuned to find out exactly how that will manifest itself. But in the comics, she can absorb all energy on the electromagnetic spectrum.” Powers like that could definitely be of use when fighting, say, a grieving superhero whose red energy powers have turned an entire town into hostages<\/a>.<\/p>\n
