While Sony has suspiciously not revealed <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps-plus-free-games-march-2021-wish-list\/\">what games will join PS Plus next month<\/a>, one of April&#8217;s games has already been confirmed. <em><strong>Oddworld: Soulstorm<\/strong><\/em>, the newest entry in the cult classic cinematic platformer series that\u00a0made its debut on the PS1, will debut on PlayStation Plus for PS4 and PS5 on April 6, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/oddworld-soulstorm\/\"><em>Oddworld: Soulstorm<\/em><\/a> was revealed all the way back in 2016 an initial release date of 2017, however, the game has been delayed multiple times for almost 5 years now. Soulstorm is the first <em>Oddworld<\/em> title since <em>Oddworld: New n&#8217; Tasty<\/em>, a remake of the original PS1 classic <em>Oddworld: Abe&#8217;s Oddysee<\/em>. The remake was developed by Just Add Water, the developer behind the upcoming game, which will also be directed by series creator Lorne Lanning in the series&#8217; first new installment since 2005&#8217;s <em>Oddworld: Stranger&#8217;s Wrath<\/em> for the Xbox.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/playstation-state-of-play-february-2021-recap\/\">Everything Announced at the PlayStation State of Play for February 2021<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A new trailer was revealed during Sony&#8217;s latest State of Play showcase, which revealed information on the game&#8217;s story, which acts as a sequel to <em>New n&#8217; Tasty<\/em> while also remaking elements of the original&#8217;s sequel, <em>Oddworld: Abe&#8217;s Exoddus<\/em>, which was released in 1998. The game will be console exclusive to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/oddworld-soulstorm-steam-epic-games-store-exclusive\/\">with a PC port coming to the Epic Games Store exclusively<\/a>. Furthermore, Sony has confirmed that <em>Oddworld: Soulstorm<\/em> will be launching as a free PlayStation Plus title on April 6th, however, it appears that the title will only be free to PS5 owners.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/23fDmggOajM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Oddworld: Soulstorm<\/em> joins <em>Bugsnax<\/em>, <em>Destruction AllStars<\/em>, and <em>Control: Ultimate Edition<\/em> as one of the first PS5 titles to launch into PlayStation Plus on its release day.\u00a0What this means is that in April, PS5 owners can expect to receive three games as usual, while PS4 owners may only receive one or two titles, depending on if Sony decides to include another cross-generation title in the service.
