Since its announcement last year, many Pokemon<\/em> fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of\u00a0New Pokemon Snap<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0Especially since\u00a0New Pokemon Snap<\/em> wasn’t in the Nintendo Direct earlier this month<\/a>, many fans have been looking forward to more information about this new title. A new trailer has revealed more about the game, plus the inclusion of a certain Mythical Pokemon.<\/p>\n

As part of Pokemon<\/em>‘s 25th anniversary,\u00a0gamers will be able to play a\u00a0sequel to\u00a0the classic 1999\u00a0Pokemon Snap<\/em> title that was released on the N64. Players will be able to travel from\u00a0island to island, photographing different Pokemon\u00a0while partaking in an ecological survey.\u00a0New Pokemon Snap<\/em> is set in the new Lental region<\/a>, and players help do Pokemon research with Professor Mirror and his research assistants, Rita and Phil.<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0New Pokemon Snap<\/a><\/em> trailer that aired in today’s Pokemon Presents, fans got a glimpse at some new content\u00a0in the game.\u00a0 Towards the end, it was revealed that the Mythical Psychic and Grass-type Celebi is going to make a special appearance. Fans saw Celebi flying around a forest glade, stopping just long enough to pose for a picture.<\/p>\n

It is quite possible that Celebi is going to be one of the final encounters in the game, especially since the 1999\u00a0Pokemon Snap<\/em> saw the Mythical Pokemon Mew at the end of the game. While Celebi was first introduced in Pokemon Gold<\/em> and Silver<\/em><\/a>\u00a0as the guardian of the Ilex Forest in the Johto region, this Mythical Pokemon has been known to appear all throughout time and space. Plus, it is known in legend as “The Voice of the Forest,” so that could explain what Celebi is doing in the forests of the Lental region.<\/p>\n
