Dying<\/strong> Light<\/strong><\/em> is free to play for a limited time; over six years after its initial release. Dying<\/em> Light<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was one of the surprise hits of 2016, and a game that some are still enjoying to this day. There are those who have yet to have had the opportunity to try the zombie survival horror game, so now may be a perfect time.<\/p>\n

Although Dying Light<\/em> is certainly not one of the newest games out there, the game saw plenty of additional content over the years and support from the developer. And with the game having just celebrated its sixth year anniversary, a free weekend is a nice little celebration.<\/p>\n

Developer Techland has just revealed that Dying Light<\/em> is free to play right now on Steam from today until March 1, 2021. The weekend may give ample time to understand the game mechanics and get a feel of the experience, which could allow players to see if they would be interested in making a full purchase. Additionally, any progress made during the free weekend will transfer over to a purchased version of Dying Light.<\/em>\u00a0The game is also still being supported, as just a couple of weeks ago a\u00a0new weapon bundle was added to\u00a0Dying\u00a0Light<\/em><\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n

Although Dying Light<\/em> for free for a weekend is nice, many are still wondering what is going on with Dying Light 2.<\/em> The game’s development has been in limbo for quite some time, and many are concerned that Dying Light<\/em> 2<\/em> has quickly become the new Dead Island 2<\/em><\/a>. The comparisons are eerie, as both games exploded into popularity, both are based on zombies, and both had highly anticipated sequels that (so far) have never seen the light of day.<\/p>\n
