Fans of\u00a0Disney Villainous\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>have cause for excitement, as a new expansion is coming soon. The expansion, titled Despicable Plots, features Gaston from\u00a0Beauty and the Beast\u00a0<\/em>as the star of the show, but there are two more new villains coming alongside him. After purchasing the upcoming expansion, players will also gain access to\u00a0the Wicked Stepmother, also known as Lady Tremaine, from\u00a0Cinderella\u00a0<\/em>and the Horned King from\u00a0Black Cauldron<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, there are some surprising picks in here. Although many fans expected Gaston would be added to\u00a0Disney Villainous<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>soon,\u00a0Lady Tremaine\u00a0was a little less likely. Beyond that, the Horned King comes completely out of left field, as many assumed that a newer villain would be added alongside these two classics.<\/p>\n

A few images have been shown of the new characters, though exactly how they will approach their objectives remains to be seen. For Gaston, it seems as though players will have to clear out obstacles in order to win the game, all in an effort to prove to Belle that he’d make the perfect husband. Lady Tremaine has to marry Prince Charming to one of her daughters<\/a>, requiring careful planning in order to do so. Finally, the Horned King’s objective requires him to have a Cauldron Born in each location.<\/p>\n

Disney Villainous: Despicable Plots\u00a0<\/em>is very near, as the expansion will release on March 8th. As part of the expansion, players will receive three new villain boards, three villain decks and fate decks, and three new figurines as well. As a standalone expansion, this comes with everything fans need to play the game. It will be interesting to see how these new characters stack up to the existing characters in\u00a0<\/a>Disney Villainous<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n
