When the Viking-inspired survival game\u00a0Valheim<\/em><\/strong> dropped on Steam earlier this month, few might have predicted its massive\u00a0rise in popularity. Less than three weeks after the game’s launch, Valheim<\/em> had already sold over three million copies<\/a>, and it recently passed four million. With a player base this large, it was only a matter of time before players created unique minigames to turn the game into something even more fun.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0Valheim<\/em>, players are dropped in a purgatorial world with nothing but the cloth on their back. As\u00a0players start gathering materials, try to find the best locations for a base<\/a>, and otherwise progress through the game, the options for\u00a0customization open up. Even though the options are more restricted than other building games,\u00a0Valheim<\/em> does offer ways for players to create unique builds.<\/p>\n

Redditor thetrueTrueDetective initially posted the setup for a\u00a0classic game of beer pong with\u00a0a\u00a0Valheim<\/em><\/a> twist. Going with the traditional set up of ten cups on each side of a table, players have to throw a ball-like item from one side of the table to the\u00a0mugs on the\u00a0opposite side. Cloudberries and pearls seem to work the best, and while these won’t actually go into the mugs, they will be able to rest on top of the mugs.<\/p>\n

There are several things players could prioritize at the start of their Valheim<\/em> game<\/a>, and maybe creating a fun minigame to play with friends should be one. It takes a little bit of work, as making a\u00a0mead pong table will require a bit of fine wood and bronze nails. The fine wood will be used to build the tables and the mugs, while fine wood and bronze nails are needed to build horizontal item stands. Just place the horizontal item stands on each end of the table, attach the mugs to each of them, and players can start chucking berries with their friends.<\/p>\n
