The Polish video game publisher Forever Entertainment S.A. is familiar with making video game remakes. One of its latest releases was\u00a0the Panzer Dragoon: Remake<\/em><\/a>\u00a0from last year, and the publisher\u00a0will be releasing the Panzer Dragoon 2 Zwei: Remake<\/em> later this year.\u00a0While the publisher has released\u00a0other video games, it will be making some more remakes soon.<\/p>\n

Recently,\u00a0Square Enix<\/a>\u00a0Japan made a deal\u00a0with Forever Entertainment S.A. to remake multiple games for the company. Though, there’s no\u00a0exact number\u00a0of how many remakes there will be. Square Enix is licensing one of its gaming intellectual properties\u00a0to the publisher to remake, but the IP’s\u00a0identity has not been shared\u00a0yet. Forever Entertainment will release more ongoing reports on the game remakes including their release dates.<\/p>\n

Forever Entertainment has experience making video game remakes, including\u00a0the Panzer Dragoon<\/em> remakes to the\u00a0planned future remakes for\u00a0The<\/em> House of the Dead<\/em><\/a> and its sequel The House of the Dead 2<\/em>.\u00a0The publisher even published\u00a0a previous video game with licensing from Square Enix. It was the game\u00a0Fear Effect Sedna<\/em>,\u00a0released back in 2018 and developed by French studio Sushee.<\/p>\n

As part of the deal, the game remakes will maintain their original core gameplay and have major graphical upgrades. It’s unknown if the remakes will have graphic visuals on the level of\u00a0Final Fantasy 7 Remake<\/em><\/a>. So, players can expect the remakes to be faithful to the original games and have\u00a0better visuals as well.<\/p>\n

As one might expect, Forever Entertainment will be creating\u00a0the remakes and earning a share of the profits from them.\u00a0Reportedly, the publisher will earn more than\u00a050% of the revenue generated from the remakes on all game platforms when they’re released. However, the studio will have to front the development costs on its own. Depending on the\u00a0title, this may or may not be much of a burden\u00a0for the publisher.<\/p>\n

Since Square Enix has been around for years now, there are various possibilities on which of its game IPs will be getting remakes. This rules out the company’s more recent published\u00a0titles, like Nier: Automata<\/em>. Some players\u00a0have already speculated that these could be remakes for the\u00a0Parasite Eve <\/em>series<\/a>, which still has a strong fanbase to this day. While other players\u00a0suggest\u00a0the remakes could be games from\u00a0the SaGa<\/em> series, the\u00a0Star Ocean\u00a0<\/em>series, or\u00a0the\u00a0Drakengard<\/em>\u00a0series. Each of which have multiple entries in their respective series.<\/p>\n
