Corpse was one of the notable streamers alongside Pokimane and DisguisedToast&#8217;s in <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/aoc-among-us-twitch-stream-best-moments-ilhan-omar-pokimane-drlupo-disguisedtoast-corpse\/\">Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Among Us\u00a0<\/em>stream<\/a> aimed at spreading the word to vote in the United States presidential election. And his popularity in streaming has consequently caused a surge in success in his musical singles, such as &#8220;E-Girls Are Ruining My Life!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/corpse-husband-song-e-girls-already-big-hit-spotify\/\">Corpse Husband Song E-GIRLS is Already A Big Hit on Spotify<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Corpse Husband recently joined forces with k-pop stars Jae and Mark Tuan in a session of\u00a0<em>Minecraft<\/em>, where he was asked if he was planning to do a face reveal at some point in the future. While much of the hype around Corpse comes from his deep voice, some of that also stems from the fact that he&#8217;s never once shown his face on camera. During\u00a0videos such as <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mr-beast-youtube-amelia-and-bridie-soyan-osman-big-subscriber-boost\/\">Mr. Beast&#8217;s YouTube Rewind<\/a>, other personalities are kind enough to respect his wishes and cover his face with Corpse icons instead.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LkYjU8OPjok?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The faceless YouTuber started off his response to the question by saying, &#8220;With how the internet is,&#8221; referring to his clamoring fans, &#8220;it&#8217;ll probably, like, inevitably happen against my will.&#8221; Some <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/corpse-husband-breath-arm-tattoo\/\">Corpse fans have been desperate enough<\/a> to say that they&#8217;ll off themselves if the streamer doesn&#8217;t eventually do a face reveal, while another tweeted out that they had a dream &#8220;Corpse fell in love with me and then did a face reveal because he said he was glowing with love.&#8221; But it&#8217;s exactly these kinds of expectations that Corpse is afraid of.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s clear to Corpse that fans have an idea built in their heads about what he really looks like, and he likely looks &#8220;dramatically different from all of them,&#8221; he says to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/bts-ugh-greekgodx-voice\/\">the k-pop artists on stream<\/a>. &#8220;It&#8217;s like you&#8217;re going to let down a lot of people at once and I&#8217;d rather not do that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While it&#8217;s sad that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/corpse-husband-quit-streaming-warning\/\">Corpse thinks he&#8217;ll disappoint fans<\/a>, which is rooted in his deep hatred for his own face that he also discusses in the livestream, it&#8217;s true that Corpse&#8217;s real face doesn&#8217;t match the idea of it his fans have created, for the same reason that, after listening to a podcast or a sports announcer with only audio, then seeing their faces later on, it rarely feels like the voice matches the face.
