In a setting reminiscent of\u00a0the prehistoric wilderness, the brand new virtual reality survival game\u00a0Song in the Smoke\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>has been confirmed for PlayStation VR<\/a>, coming later this year.<\/p>\n

From indie game developer 17-Bit comes a\u00a0new, unsettling, survival horror title. In the past, 17-Bit created the turn-based tactics game\u00a0Skulls of the Shogun\u00a0<\/em>and a shooter known as\u00a0Galak-Z: The Dimensional<\/em>. Coming soon, in\u00a0Song in the Smoke<\/em>, players are pitting against the wilderness in a true survival experience, being forced to spark fire from flint, using torches as a source of light, and hunting beasts using a bow and arrow.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0Song in the Smoke<\/em>, players must survive the night, and according to the breakdown on the PlayStation Blog, the game is meant to be played multiple times. In this upcoming VR title from 17-Bit, players will battle with dilemmas, such as crafting a new weapon and doing away with their old one, or keeping with their faithful weapon instead of innovating.<\/p>\n
