According to Steam\u2019s sales charts, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/valheim-sales-count-updated\/\"><em>Valheim<\/em>\u00a0has reached the milestone of five million sales<\/a> in just four weeks and currently boasts an Overwhelmingly Positive review rating on the site.<\/p>\n<p>The world of <em>Valheim <\/em>is vast, with a variety of biomes to traverse, each with its own unique flora, fauna, enemies, and dungeons to explore. But the game also contains a few enigmas, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/valheim-cloaked-man-figure-who-where-when\/\">mysterious shadowy figure\u00a0in <em>Valheim<\/em><\/a> who occasionally appears when players least expect it. The man stands motionless for a moment, staff in hand, and then vanishes. Many players have attributed the wraith-like apparition to Odin, the Norse god of war.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/valheim-february-2021-full-month-steam-top-seller\/\">Valheim Caps Off Full Month as Steam&#8217;s Top Seller<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Recently, another puzzling mystery has made an appearance in <em>Valheim, <\/em>this time with a less foreboding aura. A player has reported that birds have begun inexplicably flying off with their boats in the game. A recording was shared on Reddit that showed a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/valheim-update-ship-customization\/\"><em>Valheim <\/em>ship<\/a> called the karve, a medium-sized sailing craft, flying into the air in a decidedly humorous fashion. One theory is that birds in the game are landing on the boats and accidentally having ownership transferred to them, thereby causing the vessel to take off when the bird does.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/valheim\/comments\/lis71o\/the_flying_dutchman_an_absolute_staple_of_norse\/\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A PR representative at Iron Gate responded to this rumor, stating that the company has received a few inquiries about the issue but that birds aren\u2019t actually flying off with ships in <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/valheim\/\"><em>Valheim<\/em><\/a>, despite appearances. However, the representative did not proffer a potential explanation for the phenomenon either, and a bird can indeed be seen on the flying ship in the posted video.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps this is simply a rare bug that <em>Valheim\u2019s <\/em>developer has been unable to reproduce and therefore has no opinion to share on the matter. Another potential explanation could be that the Redditor who shared the video of his flying ship is using mods just to have a little fun with the gaming community. Because\u00a0it is a PC game, there are a variety of mods already available for the title, as well as a debug mode that allows <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/valheim-how-to-fly\/\">players in <em>Valheim\u00a0<\/em>to fly<\/a> around themselves.<\/p>\n<p><em>Valheim, <\/em>with its robust base building mechanics, has allowed players to freely express their creativity.
