Now, the artist behind the cover of the most recent <em>Halo<\/em>\u00a0novel is joining developer 343 Industries to help promote the upcoming <em>Halo Infinite<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-tv-show-showtime-paramount-plus\/\">The <em>Halo\u00a0<\/em>universe<\/a>\u00a0has long been supplemented with additional media outside of the franchise\u2019s mainline video games. The first <em>Halo<\/em> novel, <em>Halo: The Fall of Reach<\/em>, was published just before the release of <em>Halo: Combat Evolved<\/em>, allowing early fans to contextualize the universe they were about to enter. The trend has continued ever since, with novels such as <em>Halo: First Strike<\/em> and <em>Halo: Contact Harvest<\/em> filling in the gaps between major video game releases. Now, the artist behind the cover of the latest <em>Halo<\/em> novel, <em>Halo: Point of Light<\/em>, is joining 343 Industries, though he won\u2019t be creating book covers.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-infinite-new-screenshots\/\">Halo Infinite Releases New Screenshots<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>William \u201cPixelflare\u201d Cameron is joining 343 Industries\u2019 Xbox marketing team, where he will help promote the future of the franchise, starting with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/halo-infinite\/\"><em>Halo Infinite<\/em><\/a>. <em>Halo<\/em> fans may already be familiar with Cameron\u2019s work, as he has created impressive fan art depicting the Master Chief, Arbiter, and other iconic <em>Halo<\/em> characters and locations. Fans can visit Cameron\u2019s stunning ArtStation Portfolio to view more of his amazing artwork.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pixelflaregfx\/status\/1367205359736266754\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A few 343 and Xbox employees have already congratulated Cameron on joining the team, including <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-infinite-multiplayer-medals\/\">community manager John Junyszek<\/a>, who said, \u201c100% deserved! Welcome to the team, Will. I&#8217;m looking forward to working with you more closely.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Halo: Point of Light<\/em> was published on March 2 and tells the story of Rion Forge and the crew of her ship, the Ace of Spades. After encountering an <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-lore-insurrection-spin-off-game\/\">ancient being with knowledge of a dire threat to the <em>Halo<\/em> universe<\/a>, Rion and her team set out to uncover centuries-old secrets and assist their new companion with his personal mission. The story was written by Kelly Gray and is the sequel to 2019\u2019s <em>Halo: Renegades<\/em>, which was also written by Gray.<\/p>\n<p>Developer 343 has been busy beefing up its roster of artists since delaying <em>Halo Infinite<\/em> last year. It reportedly enlisted the help of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/gears-war-studio-coalition-reportedly-assisted-halo-infinite-development\/\"><em>Gears of War<\/em> developer The Coalition<\/a> to assist with finalizing <em>Halo Infinite<\/em>\u2019s art and level design. <em>Halo Infinite<\/em> is expected to be a huge game with tons\u00a0of maps, so it makes sense that 343 would want to have enough hands were on deck to ensure the title meets the expectations of fans.
