The celebratory\u00a0event brought several popular\u00a0releases\u00a0to stores, including a remastered collection of some of the mascot&#8217;s most iconic games and a unique battle royale experience that could be played\u00a0by 35\u00a0<em>Mario<\/em> fans at a time.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of the news\u00a0drawing criticism\u00a0online, it seems Nintendo isn&#8217;t backing down from its initial decision, reiterating through a tweet that it will be removing the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-marios-35th-anniversary-end-when-allstars\/\">35th Anniversary<\/a> products later this month. &#8220;With the end of the campaign, the production, sales and services of some products will also end,&#8221; reads a rough translation of the post, confirming that the clock is ticking on some of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/super-mario\">Mario<\/a><em>&#8216;s\u00a0<\/em>most notable recent releases. The statement was later\u00a0backed up\u00a0by Nintendo&#8217;s website, which posted more details on what would happen to the individual anniversary products.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/game-watch-super-mario-bros-getting-one-final-restock-australia\/\">Game and Watch: Super Mario Bros is Getting One Final Restock in Australia<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As for what will be taking its leave on March 31, players will no longer be able to purchase\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-mario-3d-all-stars-limited-time-release-nintendo-defense\/\">Super Mario 3D All-Stars<\/a>, Super Mario Bros. 35, Game and Watch: Super Mario Bros,\u00a0<\/em>or\u00a0the original<em>\u00a0Super Mario Maker.\u00a0<\/em><em>3D\u00a0<\/em><em>All-Stars\u00a0<\/em>bundled together\u00a0<em>Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, <\/em>and<em> Super Mario Galaxy,\u00a0<\/em>allowing players to finally enjoy the classic games via the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n<p>Seeing as fans had been begging for all three\u00a0<em>Mario\u00a0<\/em>adventures to hit the handheld console since its initial release, it was a major success, generating high sales figures. Nintendo reveals it will no longer be playable when the month ends, regardless of whether or not it is downloaded onto the player&#8217;s console. As for\u00a0<em>Game and Watch: Super Mario Bros,\u00a0<\/em>the physical product was a callback to Nintendo&#8217;s first-ever handheld console, allowing players to\u00a0enjoy\u00a0<em>Super Mario Bros\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels\u00a0<\/em>on a Game and Watch replica. Stock for the device will be discontinued after March 31.<\/p>\n<p>Although not directly linked to the 35th-anniversary<em>, Super Mario Maker<\/em>&#8216;s\u00a0online services will also be terminated at the end of the month and it will be pulled from sale.
