This is not the end of the story when it comes to bosses in this unique roguelike, though, as there is a secret one that fans can summon. For those\u00a0players who want to try their hands at defeating one of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/loop-hero\/\"><em>Loop Hero<\/em><\/a>&#8216;s most-difficult enemies, this guide will detail exactly how it is unlocked.<\/p>\n<p>To begin, fans that wish to battle the game&#8217;s secret boss must first complete its\u00a0second chapter. This means that players will need to topple the Priestess before they even consider summoning the hidden adversary, and indeed that is no small feat. However, fans that spend some time mastering the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-tips-tricks\/\">basics of\u00a0<em>Loop Hero<\/em><\/a>\u00a0should ultimately be able to overcome that opponent and move on to the next step.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-maze-memories\/\">Loop Hero: What Does Maze of Memories Do<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Specifically, players must now locate a U-shaped section of their loop, as they need to get quite a few overlapping effects on a single tile. While the minimum number of overlapping effects required to unlock the secret boss is currently up for debate, it is confirmed that six\u00a0of them will be sufficient.\u00a0Here is a\u00a0specific setup that\u00a0can be used to create an acceptable tile, but\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-breakout-success-steam-march-2021\/\"><em>Loop Hero\u00a0<\/em>fans<\/a>\u00a0are free to\u00a0come up with their own configurations if that is their preference:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4hLUxo864sI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place a Battlefield, Chrono Crystals, and Vampire Mansion in a row along the exterior of the U.<\/li>\n<li>Place a Beacon and Temporal Beacon behind that row.<\/li>\n<li>Place an Outpost in the interior of the U.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With the cards in position, players should see blue sparks on the road at the point where all of their effects overlap. They should then use an Oblivion card on the sparks in order to\u00a0create a Dimension Rift, and the battle with the secret boss will be initiated as soon as the Hero reaches that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-tile-combos-guide\/\">tile in <em>Loop Hero<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0At this point all that is left to do is slay the foe, but\u00a0that may prove to be quite difficult.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, this\u00a0hidden boss is no pushover, and fans should come fully prepared if they hope to stand a chance. This means doing things like unlocking <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-equipment-slots-get-more-gear-grey-helmet-shield-amulet-gloves-belt\/\">more equipment slots in\u00a0<em>Loop Hero<\/em><\/a>, though even a well-equipped player is certainly not guaranteed victory in the fight.
