For the last several months,\u00a0Xbox\u00a0<\/strong>has had quite a lot on its plate. With the release of the Xbox Series X\/S still fresh in everyone’s minds and demand for the console still being astronomically high, it’s almost a wonder how Xbox<\/a> has managed to keep up with both consumer and user demand.\u00a0A new content update is rolling out for Xbox platforms later in March that\u00a0should improve quality of life for users.<\/p>\n

For how much popularity the Xbox Series X has achieved since the console launched last year, even a console that is as technically impressive as the Xbox Series X<\/a> can run into issues and be improved upon. That is precisely what Microsoft hopes to achieve with this new content update.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, this new update will allow for achievements to be featured for the Xbox mobile app<\/a>. This will give users greater incentive to utilize the features present on the Xbox app, especially achievement hunters out there. The feature has been highly requested by Xbox users for some time now, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg in terms of this content update.<\/p>\n

The brand new Xbox Wireless headset<\/a>\u00a0is largely what this update is meant to prepare for. The idea is to make sure that the headset is compatible with all of the systems it is compatible with, whether that’s PC, Xbox One, or the Xbox Series X\/S. Although, there’s still a lot more that users can expect out of this content update later in March.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Xbox mobile app, the update will allow users to manage their subscriptions to services like Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass<\/a>\u00a0more efficiently.\u00a0It should also improve the performance of the Manage tab under My Games and Apps, letting players better organize their games and apps.<\/p>\n

What’s nice about this update is that it will apply to Xbox One<\/a> as well. Thus, those who still have yet to update to the next console generation will also be able to enjoy everything this content update has to offer. In any case, it’s good to know that even with the extremely high demand of the Xbox Series X\/S, Microsoft has continued to remain reactive in terms of its endeavors with each of its respective platforms, not just its latest one. With any luck, Xbox<\/strong> will be able to maintain each of its respective platforms for years to come.<\/p>\n
