In addition to the currently running <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-go-season-of-legends-special-research-tasks-rewards\/\">Searching for Legends event<\/a>, the excitement is going to continue in just a few days when the first ever Electric-type Pokemon themed event kicks off.<\/p>\n<p>The Charge Up <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/pokemon-go\/\"><em>Pokemon GO<\/em><\/a> event will be similar to the other -type themed events in the past like\u00a0Psychic Spectacular and Bug Out and should offer trainers a chance to catch a ton of Electric-type Pokemon and load up on Candy throughout the event. For players who haven&#8217;t <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-go-medals-platinum-requirements\/\">maxed out their Electric-type badge<\/a> quite yet, this should be a perfect opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-go-beldum-incense-day-schedule\/\">Pokemon GO: Beldum Incense Day Date and Details<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Trainers still have almost a week before the Charge Up event kicks off, so there&#8217;s lots of time to finish their current Searching or Legends tasks and make space in their inventory for all of the Electric-types they will be tracking down when March 16 arrives. Fans who want a bit of a sneak peek can get a look at the full list of bonuses and features right now&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PokemonGoApp\/status\/1369653017390243842\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, March 22, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. local time<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll have a higher chance of receiving Evolution items when opening Gifts during the event period<\/p>\n<p>Tynamo makes its Pok\u00e9mon GO debut<\/p>\n<p>Mega Manectric makes its Pok\u00e9mon GO debut<\/p>\n<p>Electric-type Pok\u00e9mon\u2014including Alolan Geodude, Voltorb, Electrike, Stunfisk, and more\u2014will be appearing more frequently in the wild. Also keep an eye out for Tynamo, which will be making its Pok\u00e9mon GO debut!<\/p>\n<p>The following Electric-type Pok\u00e9mon will be hatching from 5 km Eggs: Pichu, Elekid, Electrike, Shinx, Joltik, Tynamo, and Stunfisk.<\/p>\n<p>Event-exclusive Field Research tasks will reward Pok\u00e9 Balls, Ampharos Mega Energy, Manectric Mega Energy, encounters with Electric-type Pok\u00e9mon, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Timed Research focused on evolving and powering up Electric-type Pok\u00e9mon will be available!<\/p>\n<p>The following Pok\u00e9mon will be appearing in raids.<\/p>\n<p>Voltorb, Shinx, Blitzle, Klink, and Tynamo will be appearing in one-star raids.<\/p>\n<p>Alolan Raichu, Alolan Graveler, Magneton, and Ampharos will be appearing in three-star raids.<\/p>\n<p>Therian Forme Thundurus will be appearing for the first time in five-star raids.<\/p>\n<p>Mega-Evolved Manectric\u2014otherwise known as Mega Manectric\u2014will be making its Pok\u00e9mon GO debut in Mega Raids!
