Gearbox Software has delayed the release of the Borderlands 3 add-on Director’s Cut.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\nOriginally slated to arrive on March 18<\/a>, Director’s Cut for Borderlands 3<\/strong> will instead arrive on April 8.<\/p>\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The add-on is being delayed due to challenges that affected Texas last month. Severe weather caused a massive snow storm across the state, with many areas impacted by lack of power and running water.<\/p>\n<p>“Our work on Director’s Cut was unavoidably disrupted and we’ve ultimately decided to shift the release date to ensure we deliver the best possible experience,” <a href=\"https:\/\/pbs.twimg.com\/media\/EwNDFHzWQAU6AsL.jpg\" rel=\"noopener\">reads the Gearbox statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>“We appreciate your understanding, and we’re excited for you to play Director’s Cut when it releases next month.”<\/p>\n<p>The add-on features a brand new raid boss called Hemovorous the Invincible, as well as a series of murder mystery missions, featuring new locations and a “novel crime scene analysis mechanic.” Here, you will be investigating strange happenings on Pandora, Promethea, Eden-6, and Nekrotafeyo. In addition, the add-on will give you access to three Vault Cards. Playing with a Vault Card active will allow you to level-up the card by completing daily and weekly challenges.<\/p>\n<p>There’s a selection of over 100 challenges and you never know what each day and week may bring.
