Ultimate<\/i>. And although\u00a0many fans expected\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/xenoblade-chronicles-2\"><em>Xenoblade Chronicles 2<\/em><\/a>&#8216;s\u00a0protagonist Rex to earn a well-deserved spot on the roster, many were quite welcoming of\u00a0the 2-in-1 character\u00a0representing one of the Switch&#8217;s best-selling JRPG&#8217;s as well.<\/p>\n<p>Since the characters were announced for\u00a0<em>Smash<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Xenoblade\u00a0<\/em><i>Chronicles 2<\/i> has seen incredible sales,\u00a0reportedly even <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xenoblade-chronicles-2-selling-super-smash-bros-ultimate-announcement\/\">selling out at certain Japanese retailers.<\/a> With the game getting so much attention,\u00a0<em>Super <\/em><em>Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Xenoblade<\/em> fans alike have taken to the internet to share\u00a0fan-art,\u00a0clips of the characters in\u00a0<em>Smash<\/em>, and more. Now, it looks like fans\u00a0can look forward to getting their hands on some high-quality figures of the characters, though not for a while.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"next-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-ultimate-masahiro-sakurai-rex-impossible\/\">Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Director Masahiro Sakurai Says Rex Would Be &#8216;Impossible&#8217; to Add<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Japanese <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/animal-crossing-isabelle-nendoroid-pre-order\/\">figure manufacturer Good Smile Company<\/a>\u00a0released Pyra and Mythra figures back in 2018 and 2019 respectively, but the figures have been out of production and unavailable to many for some time. However, keeping to a promise the company made\u00a0over an entire year ago, the figures will be available once again\u00a0for a limited time both in Japan and North America.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GoodSmile_US\/status\/1370207951361818625\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GoodSmile_US\/status\/1370208445677326341\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This announcement comes just a week after Good Smile Company opened up\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xenoblade-melia-antiqua-goodsmile-figure-pre-order-march-2021\/\">pre-orders for another\u00a0<em>Xenoblade Chronicles<\/em> figure<\/a>.\u00a0Coming in at over 8 inches tall, the Pyra and Mythra figures are 1\/7 scale and will run fans \u00a520,166, or about $193 USD each. The figures feature the popular Blades with their respective swords, and were created using art from\u00a0<em>Xenoblade Chronicles 2<\/em>&#8216;s character designer Saitou Masatsugu. Each figure can currently be pre-ordered from Good Smile Company up until April 21 for as long as supplies last, and will then be shipped by September 2022 in Japan and October 2022 in North America. So, while these coveted figures are making a long-awaited return, it seems that fans will have to wait even longer after pre-ordering.<\/p>\n<p>During the\u00a0<em>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em>\u00a0Mr. Sakurai Presents &#8220;Pyra\/Mythra&#8221; video presentation last week,\u00a0Sakurai was accompanied by the Good Smile Company Pyra and Mythra figures throughout the entire video. Later on in the presentation, the director\u00a0acknowledged the two figures, mentioning they are\u00a0&#8220;incredibly well made,&#8221; and that he likes to purchase figures of characters he <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-ultimate-masahiro-sakurai-drawer-figurines\/\">plans on adding to\u00a0<em>Smash<\/em><\/a> to use as references.<\/p>\n<p>Although fans will have to wait quite some time to get their hands on these high-quality Pyra and Mythra figures, they can <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/super-smash-bros-ultimate-time-pyra-mythra-release\/\">enjoy the characters in\u00a0<em>Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/em><\/a> right now either purchased individually or as part of the game&#8217;s Fighters Pass Vol. 2.
