The\u00a0array\u00a0of console\u00a0ports are available right now, with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/activision-video-game-world-bigger-patent\/\">Activision<\/a> posting a trailer celebrating the game&#8217;s success and advertising the new versions.<\/p>\n<p>However, the promo is capped off with an announcement\u00a0concerning\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/crash-bandicoot-4\/\">Crash Bandicoot 4: It&#8217;s About Time<\/a>&#8216;s\u00a0<\/em>PC release, revealing that the\u00a0upcoming port will release on Battle.net on March 26.\u00a0Players can pre-purchase Crash&#8217;s latest adventure via Blizzard&#8217;s online storefront right now, where it&#8217;ll cost $39.99.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/crash-bandicoot-4-ps5-xbox-switch-release-date\/\">Crash Bandicoot 4 Coming To PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch in March<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Activision&#8217;s decision to release the game via Battle.net has already been a controversial\u00a0one with fans, many of which were hoping to see the game on Steam or Epic.\u00a0This is mostly because games on the service rely on internet connections, with\u00a0<em>Crash Bandicoot 4: It&#8217;s About Time\u00a0<\/em>even sporting a disclaimer reading\u00a0&#8220;Internet Connection, Blizzard Battle.net Desktop app, and registration required to play.&#8221; Regardless, it&#8217;ll join a\u00a0significant\u00a0library of Activision classics\u00a0available on the storefront, including\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/overwatch-next-gen-update-xbox-series-x\/\">Overwatch<\/a>, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone,\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Diablo 3.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AdB4X-kjFt4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For those who never got around to playing the game at release, it sees Crash, Coco, and Aku Aku team-up once again, with the sequel acting as a direct continuation of Naughty Dog&#8217;s original\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/crash-bandicoot-n-sane-trilogy-sales-114\/\"><em>Crash Bandicoot\u00a0<\/em>trilogy<\/a>\u00a0that discards\u00a0the franchise&#8217;s\u00a0later entries. The plot sees Neo Cortex and Dr N.Tropy shatter the space-time continuum, forcing Crash and his allies to venture across a myriad of new stages as they attempt to fix it. It was heralded as a return to form for the series, seeing Crash return to his roots through\u00a0gauntlets of\u00a0brutally challenging platforming ripped straight from the character&#8217;s iconic trilogy of games.<\/p>\n<p>The title wasn&#8217;t exceptionally successful on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One at release, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/crash-bandicoot-4-star-wars-squadrons-uk-sales-chart-october-2020\/\">with first-week physical sales down by 80% compared to\u00a0Vicarious Vision&#8217;s immensely popular\u00a0<em>Crash<\/em>\u00a0remake<\/a>,\u00a0<em>Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.\u00a0<\/em>It&#8217;ll be interesting to see whether the game hitting new platforms changes that fact, with fans already wondering whether they should expect to see the charismatic marsupial return for a sequel.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, the character will make his return this month in a new game known as\u00a0<em>Crash Bandicoot: On The Run<\/em>,<em>\u00a0<\/em>which will officially debut on March 25.
