Fans have already seen glimpses of the\u00a0Crimson Heist update through other videos and promotional images, but this latest video provides some backstory for the infamous new operator coming to\u00a0<em>Rainbow Six Siege<\/em>, Operator Flores.<\/p>\n<p>Flores&#8217; abilities as an operator and his toolkit are already known. He&#8217;s a medium speed and armor attacker hailing from Argentina. His gadget is the RCE-RATERO, which functions as a remotely controlled drone with a bomb attached to it. Flores has a choice between the AR33 or SR-25 rifles and his sidearm is the GSH-18 pistol. He also has stun grenades and a claymore. Flores won&#8217;t be the only new operator in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/rainbow-six-siege-year-6-roadmap\/\"><em>Rainbow Six Siege<\/em>&#8216;s Year 6 content roadmap<\/a> but he is the star of the Crimson Heist update.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/rainbow-six-siege-adds-skins-designed-former-ghostwire-tokyo-creative-director\/\">Rainbow Six Siege Adds Skins Designed by Former Ghostwire: Tokyo Creative Director<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Flores&#8217; story trailer mixes a little bit of comedy with some action scenes and shows what the new operator loves most, which apparently isn&#8217;t cooking.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/rainbow-six-siege-operators-ranked-difficulty\/\"><em>Rainbow Six Siege<\/em> operators<\/a> Castle and Goyo show up at Flores&#8217; food truck to talk him into joining the team and ask him about his side hustle.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/b2LV-T3PROE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While it probably won&#8217;t function quite the same way in\u00a0<em>Rainbow Six Siege<\/em>, Flores&#8217; remote control drone gets a lot of screen time in the story trailer. The gadget will supposedly be able to blow up other gadgets, destructible environment pieces, and players. Flores&#8217; RCE-RATERO and the Gonne-6 (an explosive secondary weapon all Attackers can equip) are new additions with the Crimson Heist update that may help shift the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/rainbow-six-siege-meta-might-attacker-sided\/\"><em>Rainbow Six Siege<\/em> meta to be more Attacker-sided<\/a> for the future.<\/p>\n<p>The Crimson Heist update for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/rainbow-six-siege\/\"><em>Rainbow Six Siege<\/em><\/a> is scheduled to drop on March 16.
