A retired gunship that\u2019s seen better days, the Razor Crest is more than just a vessel to Djarin, it\u2019s also his home. Sadly, the ship was blown to smithereens\u00a0by a single shot fired from Moff Gideon&#8217;s light cruiser in the season 2 episode appropriately titled\u00a0<em>The Tragedy.\u00a0<\/em>While this episode saw the triumphant<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/boba-fett-return-worth-wait\/\"> return of fan-favorite bounty hunter Boba Fett<\/a>, it also saw\u00a0Djarin lose\u00a0his home and ended with his little green force-sensitive adopted son being kidnapped.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"related-single\">RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/star-wars-rebels-sabine-wren-cosplay\/\">&#8216;Star Wars&#8217; Cosplayer Nails Sabine Wren&#8217;s Look From &#8216;Rebels&#8217;<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the next season of <em>The Mandalorian <\/em>will take\u00a0Djarin\u00a0to Russia, where one very committed fan decided to rebuild a life-size replica of the Razor Crest. Originally reported by\u00a0<em>CBS News,<\/em>\u00a0a fan in\u00a0Yakutsk, Russia who goes by the name\u00a0<em>Just Ayaal\u00a0<\/em>has been putting together a gigantic model of the Razor Crest over the past year.\u00a0The project took roughly a year due to initial funding issues coupled\u00a0with the added\u00a0difficulties imposed by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/internet-usage-spiked-considerably-pandemic-pandemic\/\">ongoing\u00a0COVID-19 pandemic<\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CBSNews\/status\/1369807785941213185?ref_src=https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mandalorian-razor-crest-replica\/twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1369807785941213185%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fnerdist.com%2Farticle%2Fthe-mandalorian-razor-crest-fan-replica%2F%22 frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CL8lVjBMnZj\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>According to Nerdist, the project was completed only after a friend sold his car and other backers pitched in to help\u00a0finance it. The replica is reportedly\u00a046-feet long, 33-feet wide,\u00a013-feet tall, and contains a replica console\u00a0in the cockpit. But don\u2019t expect this model\u00a0to take flight anytime soon, as it apparently weighs over one ton.<\/p>\n<p>Season 2 of\u00a0<em>The Mandalorian<\/em> was incredibly eventful for Din Djarin. On top of losing his ship\/home, the sophomore season saw Djarin encounter new friends and enemies alike, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mandalorian-katee-sackhoff-live-action-pre-vizsla\/\">including fellow Mandalorian\u00a0hideaway Bo-Katan<\/a>, and even Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker in a cameo that broke the internet. Little is known about what will happen in season 3, but series creator Jon Favreau has confirmed that the show will connect\u00a0to Disney\u2019s divisive sequel trilogy.<\/p>\n<p>The success of\u00a0<em>The Mandalorian<\/em> has also spurred several other upcoming live-action <em>Star Wars<\/em> TV shows, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/star-wars-ahsoka-mena-massoud-ezra-rumor\/\">spin-off series following fallen Jedi Palawan Ahsoka Tano<\/a>\u00a0and <em>Rangers of the New Republic.<\/em> Until then, fans will have to bide their time making gigantic replicas.
