Directly after Genshin Impact<\/em><\/strong>‘s festive winter events, players were introduced to\u00a0an entirely\u00a0new set of spring\u00a0celebrations with the Lantern Rite Festival featuring Xiao, one of the game’s latest playable five-stars.<\/p>\n

Since then, Travelers have also had the chance to meet a powerful new form of “Vishaps” that have been appearing around Teyvat, along with yet another\u00a0Genshin Impact<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>character. As players may well know, Hu Tao was ultimately introduced as part of the game’s Version 1.3 too, making for a great end cap to the Lantern Rite celebrations. With her introduction, and a new set of recent leaks, it’s now safe to say that V1.3 is on its last legs, and V1.4 of the game is on the horizon.<\/p>\n

In one particularly unique leak, players have been given a chance to listen to some of upcoming character Dansleif’s voice lines. This is\u00a0notably unique simply because many of the existing\u00a0Genshin Impact\u00a0<\/em>leaks<\/a> have been either images, videos, or combinations of both. That is, even when leaks include audio components, they generally come alongside a number of leaked visual elements as well.\u00a0This audio-only preview of Dansleif\u00a0not only helps retain some of the mystery surrounding this (literally)\u00a0shady character, but also functions as a sort of implicit confirmation.<\/p>\n

The voice clips below obviously\u00a0confirm\u00a0Dansleif was referred to as “The Twilight Sword,” but more importantly: many fans are\u00a0theorizing that\u00a0the fact the Traveler is directly speaking about Dansleif,\u00a0indicates he\u00a0will be a\u00a0sizable component\u00a0of the V1.4 update<\/a>. He was confirmed to be playable eventually during a special livestream on September 27, 2020, but when he is set to arrive, is an\u00a0altogether different debate. Nonetheless, players should probably expect to see some Dansleif during the main events of V1.4.<\/p>\n
