On the surface, Epic Games’ hit battle royale\u00a0Fortnite<\/em><\/strong> seems simple enough. Players drop into a map and compete in a 100-person match until there is only one player left standing. There are a variety of unique POI’s to visit, weapons to use, and characters to play as. However, many players are beginning to learn that there may be much more going on behind the scenes in\u00a0Fortnite<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite the game’s light-hearted tone and art style, Epic Games has begun to slowly reveal the lore surrounding\u00a0the world of\u00a0Fortnite<\/em>. Back in Chapter 1 Season 3,<\/a> the game held an event that saw a meteor introduce fans\u00a0to a character known only as The Visitor. Players would later learn that The Visitor is part of a group of characters known as The Seven, which\u00a0includes The Scientist and The Paradigm, and while the intentions of this group have\u00a0been unknown, fans have gotten “The Seven” trending on Twitter in light of the upcoming Fortnite<\/em>\u00a0season.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Epic Games announced that\u00a0Fortnite<\/em> Chapter 2 Season 5 would come to an end on March 16, effectively kicking off Season 6 with a special Zero Crisis Finale event.<\/a> As part of the event, players will experience the “conclusion of Agent Jones’ mission,” which\u00a0Fortnite<\/em> has released multiple teasers for in the past few days. In the teasers, Agent Jones makes multiple mentions of The Seven, kicking off a flurry of excitement and speculation by fans on Twitter.<\/p>\n
