Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time<\/strong><\/em> was released late last year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and has now officially arrived on the Nintendo Switch. As Crash<\/em> is one of gaming’s most recognizable characters<\/a>, it makes sense that his latest Nintendo outing would generate some new merch, and it appears to have done just that.<\/p>\n

PowerA is a\u00a0video game peripheral manufacturer that largely focuses on making themed third party controllers for different home consoles. The company previously made Pokemon<\/em> and Cuphead<\/em> themed Switch controllers<\/a>, and has now set\u00a0its sights on the one and only Crash, <\/em>developing a beautiful\u00a0Crash Bandicoot 4\u00a0<\/em>controller.<\/p>\n

The controller is set to be released on March 30, two weeks after the game’s Switch launch. While\u00a0PowerA did technically miss the release window, as the title Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time<\/em><\/a> would suggest, the Crash<\/em> series has never been about getting things done in a timely manner. With\u00a0its gorgeous design, the controller appears to have been worth the wait, anyway.\u00a0It features classic Crash<\/em> orange buttons and a weather worn\u00a0surface as though its trekked through jungles and swamps right along with the famous Bandicoot.<\/p>\n

Much like PowerA’s Pokemon<\/em> Switch controller<\/a>, the Crash Bandicoot<\/em> controller will not support\u00a0HD rumble or NFC functionality, though this is largely par for the course with third party controllers. Many gamers do prefer PowerA’s thumbsticks and d-pads however, so it really does boil down to personal preference. Anyone looking to grab the Crash Bandicoot 4<\/em> controller for themselves can pre-order it now from Amazon.<\/p>\n

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time<\/strong><\/em> is available now on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X\/S, with a PC version releasing on March 26.<\/p>\n
