Chapter 2 Season 5 of Epic Games&#8217; hit battle royale has brought players a\u00a0plethora of crossovers, from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-halo-master-chief-blood-gulch-creative-map\/\">a skin based on\u00a0<em>Halo<\/em>&#8216;s Master Chief<\/a>\u00a0to loads of content from\u00a0<em>The Mandalorian<\/em>. However,\u00a0as Season 5 wraps up with less than a day to go until the start of Chapter 2 Season 6, fans are speculating as to what the new season could bring.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a> has become notorious for teasing its fans about upcoming events, skins, and more, so it came as no surprise when the game&#8217;s official Twitter account began posting teasers for Season 6. The\u00a0clips featured\u00a0a variety of images accompanied by new &#8220;Reality logs&#8221; from <em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s\u00a0Agent Jones, but fans have noticed that an\u00a0image in one of the new teasers could reveal the addition of the Black Drum Shotgun to the game.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-new-season-6-teaser-image-with-jonesy\/\">Fortnite Releases New Season 6 Teaser\u00a0Image With Jonesy<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Although\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em> is most popular for its free-to-play battle royale mode, the game initially released with a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-save-the-world-apple-mac-epic-games-refund\/\">PvE <em>Save the World<\/em> mode,<\/a> which saw players work together to build forts and use traps to fight off massive hordes of zombies. While these stats are for\u00a0<em>Fortnite: Save the World<\/em>, it will be interesting to see how that might translate over to\u00a0battle royale.\u00a0<em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s PvE mode\u00a0includes a variety of features and weapons not in\u00a0battle royale, though it&#8217;s worth noting that\u00a0some things like the Laser Pick Pickaxe and a Penny skin have been added.<\/p>\n<p>The new teasers for Chapter 2 Season 6 have also seemingly shown references to past <em>Fortnite<\/em> trailers and events, as well as\u00a0hint at a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-neymar-skin-brazil-soccer-football\/\">skin inspired by Brazilian soccer player Neymar<\/a>.\u00a0Twitter user IShadowHenchmen also pointed out that what seems to be an updated version of the Brood Slicer pickaxe from <em>Save the World<\/em> may also be coming to the battle royale\u00a0mode.<\/p>\n<p>With only a few more hours to go, fans will soon know what exactly Season 6 is going to bring them.
