With countless deaths behind them, and many more to come, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/loop-hero\"><i>Loop Hero<\/i><\/a> players wonder which Traits give them the best chance at making it further through the game.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Instead of controlling the character directly, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-heros-unique-take-tower-defense-mechanics\/\"><i>Loop Hero\u2019s<\/i> unique tower defense mechanics<\/a> have players altering their loop by placing buildings in the environment. Once a player builds the Gymnasium, they can choose between three, randomly generated traits after killing enough enemies.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-defense-explained\/\">Loop Hero: How Does Defense Work<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>There are at least ten Traits specific to the Warrior, eleven each for the Rogue and Necromancer, and 13 that can be offered to Heroes of any class.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0As with other <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-tips-tricks\/\"><em>Loop Hero<\/em> tips and tricks<\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>Tier Lists can be invaluable for helping players to prepare themselves in advance, so one is provided for\u00a0the common Traits, as well as for each Hero type.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-trait-menu.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>The Traits in this list can be <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-all-classes-and-how-to-unlock-them\/\">unlocked by all classes in Loop Hero<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Omicron\u2019s Technique<\/strong> grants an additional resurrection charge, allowing the Hero to be immediately resurrected with 100% HP upon death.<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Deep Pockets<\/strong> increases the resource cap by 50%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Post-Mortem Toll<\/strong> provides the player with a 30% probability of receiving a random, basic resource chunk after killing an enemy.<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Skilled Architect<\/strong> awards an amount of experience, equal to 8 times loop level, any time the player places a Building tile.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surveyor<\/strong> provides <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-loop-hp\/\"><em>Loop Hero<\/em> players with Loop HP<\/a>,\u00a0an amount of HP equal to 0.5 times loop level, every time the Hero passes by a roadside tile that&#8217;s adjacent to a building they&#8217;ve placed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Axis Tilt<\/strong> causes time to flow 25% more rapidly; alternatively, players can choose another Trait if they know <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-unlock-temporal-beacon\/\">how to unlock <em>Loop Hero<\/em>&#8216;s Temporal Beacon<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Shield of Faith<\/strong> provides one Stained Glass charge (up to a maximum stack of 3) which has a 20% chance of protecting the Hero.<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Supplies<\/strong> allows the player to store 10% of the supplies they\u2019ve gained whenever they pass through a campfire tile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-building-menu-1.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Blissful Ignorance<\/strong> deals a full hand of Oblivion cards and, from this point forward, players heal (equal to 10% of max HP) every time they use an Oblivion card.<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Card-Sharp<\/strong> provides a 10% chance for the player to keep a card after placing it; not applicable to Golden cards.<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Treasure Hunter<\/strong> grants a 5% chance for a chest to spawn after killing an enemy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Awakened Fragment<\/strong> confers a 2% chance for the Hero to get a whole resource sphere, rather than simply a chunk.<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong>Second Thoughts<\/strong> allows the player to \u201cre-roll\u201d for a new set of 3 potential Traits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These Traits are exclusive to Warriors (players can\u00a0reference the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-warrior-guide\/\"><em>Loop Hero<\/em>\u00a0Warrior Guide<\/a> for more information on this class):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Article of Protection<\/strong> supplies the Hero with protection, equal to 65% of their max HP, after selecting the Trait, and after every loop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static0.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-warrior-omega.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Shield Master<\/strong> grants a 20% chance for a hit to stun the target for 1 second.<\/li>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Dominant Mass<\/strong> increases the Warrior\u2019s damage output by 20% of their defense stat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Blade of Dawn<\/strong> fills the Hero\u2019s sword with sunlight, every morning, which causes the next attack to do double damage.<\/li>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Somersault<\/strong> grants a 35% chance for the Warrior to counterattack during an evade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Skilled Armorer<\/strong> adds 1 to the Hero\u2019s defense after every loop, and is retroactive, meaning that the Hero gains the bonus for every loop already completed.<\/li>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Buckler<\/strong> restores an amount of HP, equal to 1.5 time the loop level, after a counterattack.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static1.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-dialogue.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Strong Aftertaste<\/strong> adds 1.5 to the player\u2019s damage output for every <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-use-potions\/\"><em>Loop Hero<\/em> potion they use<\/a>, but, unlike with Skilled Armorer, this Trait is not retroactive.<\/li>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Survivalist<\/strong> doubles the player\u2019s HP regeneration-per-second stat whenever HP falls below 40%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b><i><\/i><\/b><strong>Battering Ram<\/strong> grants a 75% chance for the Hero\u2019s first attack to stun each enemy for 1 second.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These Traits are exclusive to Rogues\u00a0(players can\u00a0reference the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-rogue-guide\/\"><em>Loop Hero<\/em>\u00a0Rogue Guide<\/a> for more information on this class):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Picky<\/b> increases the quality of equipment gained when exchanging for Trophies, in exchange for decreasing the number of items received on the Camp tile by 3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-gymnasium-resources.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Old Scars<\/b> increases maximum HP by 1 for every Trophy received.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Fuss<\/b> decreases damage to the Hero by 7% for every enemy after the first.<\/li>\n<li><b>Gift of Blood <\/b>provides a chance, equal to the Rogue\u2019s critical hit probability, for a hit to summon a Blood Lightning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Marauder<\/b> rewards an additional Trophy to the Rogue whenever they fight against 3 or more enemies at a time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nothing is Sacred<\/strong> increases the Hero\u2019s maximum HP by 3 after every kill.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-loop-screen.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Lethal Weakness<\/b> grants a small probability (0.5% per every 10% of lost HP, up to a maximum probability of 4.5%) for the Rogue to deal 1000% damage.<\/li>\n<li><b>Master of Fencing<\/b> confers a 10% chance for the Hero to attack two targets, simultaneously.<\/li>\n<li><b>Lightning Fast<\/b> bestows a 20% chance for the Rogue to perform a 3-hit combo, dealing 50% damage each.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Child of the Forest<\/b> provides the Rogue with a 75% chance for a Rat-Wolf to aid in battle.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smoke Screen<\/strong> allows the Hero to evade all attacks for 2 seconds after they lose 20% of max HP in combat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These Traits are exclusive to Necromancers\u00a0(players can reference the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/loop-hero-necromancer-guide\/\"><em>Loop Hero<\/em> Necromancer\u00a0Guide<\/a> for more information on this class):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Unseen Care<\/b> permanently adds a 0.5 bonus to Magic HP for every summoned Skeleton.<\/li>\n<li><b>Field Practice<\/b> provides an additional 0.25 to Skeletons\u2019 level per loop, starting from the loop in which the Trait is selected.<\/li>\n<li><b>Residual Heat<\/b> grants an amount of HP equal to 3 times the loop number when a Skeleton dies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static2.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-skeleton-1.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Edge of Impossible <\/b>provides a 20% chance for players to exceed their maximum allowance so that 2 skeletons are summoned, instead of one, on their final summon.<\/li>\n<li><b>Art of Control<\/b> increases a player\u2019s maximum number of Skeleton summons by one.<\/li>\n<li><b>Laying Down One\u2019s Life<\/b> diverts any direct damage away from the Hero and splits it evenly among their summoned Skeletons.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Ambitions of the Dead<\/b> heals a Skeleton, completely &#8211; and grants the Skeleton an additional 10% to damage and HP until the end of battle &#8211; after they kill an enemy.<\/li>\n<li><b>Horde<\/b> invites 3 Strengthened Skeletons to join the Hero on every loop and, better still, these three do not count towards the player\u2019s maximum Skeleton count.<\/li>\n<li><b>Gift of Blood<\/b> provides a chance, equal to the Rogue\u2019s critical hit probability, for a hit to summon a Blood Lightning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Preparation for a Ceremony<\/b> strengthens the first 2 Skeletons summoned daily.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Counterattack<\/b> grants a 15% chance for all Skeletons to counterattack in response to direct damage to the Hero.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/loop-hero-trait-menu-loop-screen.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Traits can make a huge difference in the outcome of a run, so\u00a0this Tier List\u00a0can help a player to make better decisions, more efficiently.
