One fan of the series has translated the best moments from <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/the-last-of-us\/\"><em>The Last of Us<\/em><\/a> and its sequel into a series of art pieces, a process that must have taken a massive amount of time and focus.\u00a0<strong>PLEASE NOTE THIS ARTICLE WILL HAVE MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE LAST OF US AND THE LAST OF US 2.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The Last of Us<\/em> art collection was shared by @IconicNephilim on Twitter, with the artist\u2019s real name being David. The latest in a long line of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/last-us-2-fans-show-off-incredible-clicker-cosplay\/\">creative work from <em>Last of Us<\/em> fans<\/a>, David\u2019s project is arguably the most complex. Described by the artist as being \u201cone of the most challenging things\u201d they have ever made, it is easy to understand why. In total, the project is comprised of 24 pieces, with 13 for the original game and 11 for its follow-up.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/the-last-us-2-dlc-content-factions-naughty-dog-comments\/\">Recent Naughty Dog Comments Bode Well for The Last of Us 2<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The art for the first game begins with pieces centered on the death of Sarah, Joel\u2019s daughter, and Ellie\u2019s relationship with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/last-of-us-dlc-left-behind-details-characters-story\/\">Riley from <em>Left Behind<\/em><\/a>. Joel and Ellie\u2019s first meeting, Tess\u2019s death, and the pair\u2019s encounter with Bill all come next. Another poster highlights the tragic meeting between Henry and Sam, with the \u201cstop feeding on lies\u201d writing shown in the corner adding to the piece. Joel and Ellie\u2019s journey to the school comes after, showing off Joel\u2019s injury and building up to the game\u2019s unforgettable finale.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/IconicNephilim\/status\/1371192095495577601?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Winter is shown, with Ellie and David\u2019s confrontation depicted. Arguably <em>The Last of Us<\/em>\u2019 most iconic scene comes next, as Ellie and the giraffe are shown. The next poster depicts Joel\u2019s decision in the hospital, with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/the-last-us-2-ellie-joel-relationship-okay\/\">Joel\u2019s final promise<\/a> rounding out the excellent collection of posters. While @IconicNephilim could have stopped there, the artist covered the second game with a series of posters that are arguably more impressive than the original batch. Beginning with Joel\u2019s brilliant performance for Ellie and the game\u2019s controversial death scene, the collection gets off to a strong start.<\/p>\n<p>Ellie\u2019s hunt through Seattle is shown next, with Dina included every step of the way. The final poster of the section puts extra focus on the theater battle with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/last-us-part-ii-terrible-abby-ellie\/\">Abby and Ellie<\/a>, while the next section shows Abby\u2019s journey with Lev. The final three posters include Ellie\u2019s choice to leave Dina, the final encounter with Abby on the beach, and the devastating finale where Ellie recalls her last conversation with Joel. Unsurprisingly, the artist\u2019s work was met with plenty of praise in the comments, something that is truly well-deserved.<\/p>\n<p>As of now, it remains to be seen if there will ever be a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/the-last-of-us-3-joel\/\">third <em>Last of Us<\/em> game<\/a> that grows this collection further.
