The Marvel Cinematic Universe has recently kicked off its fourth phase. But it happened in a nontraditional way. Instead of releasing a new movie, the MCU<\/a> aired a TV series WandaVision<\/em><\/a> that’s available on Disney+. Several other TV series will follow, and one of the most expected ones is The Falcon and Winter Soldier<\/em>. Two popular superheroes will return in the show, but unlike in the MCU, they will get to spend a lot more time together.<\/p>\n

That might not be such a win for them. Falcon and Winter Soldier have a vastly different set of powers<\/a>. Before they learn to work together as a team, it might be a while. Until then, the fans entertained themselves by making memes about the duo.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>It’s True Love<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Even when two superheroes fight side by side, it doesn’t mean they like each other. In Captain America: Civil War <\/em>(2016)<\/a>, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes fight together. They stand against Spider-Man and lose. From their point of view, it’s pretty embarrassing that a 14-year-old kid kicked their ass. What’s more, Bucky apparently wanted to kill Sam about 70% of the time. It remains a question whether their shared show will bring that number up to 100%.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>Careful, Sam<\/h2>\n

Bucky isn’t a bad guy. If it wasn’t for the brainwashing done by Bucky’s enemies<\/a>, he never would have killed Tony Stark’s parents. But he seems to have a low tolerance level when it comes to Falcon. Bucky even takes it so far to threaten Sam – or maybe not. Either way, Falcon should be careful when dealing with his new superhero buddy<\/a>. After all, Bucky does know how to kill someone swiftly and has the strength to do it.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Ready, Set, Go!<\/h2>\n

Their show hasn’t premiered yet, but one thing’s for certain. It should be a lot of fun. When someone puts Falcon and Winter Soldier, or Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan<\/a> together, hilarity ensues. So much so it’s difficult for a single day to go along without nonsense happening. This meme inspired by the popular sitcom\u00a0The Office<\/em> might very well reflect the true state of things. Let’s hope the audience will have just as much fun.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>The Best Burn<\/h2>\n

Even good friends sometimes insult each other, but it’s all in a good spirit. In this meme, both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan manage to insult each other. However, one could argue that the ultimate burn belongs to Sebastian Stan.<\/p>\n

Even if it was true that Sebastian Stan isn’t the best Winter Soldier, like Anthony Mackie claims, his Bucky might still be more popular than Falcon. At least among people who do superhero cosplays.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear what exactly will be The <\/em>Falcon And Winter Soldier<\/em><\/a> show about. That gives the fans plenty of opportunities to speculate. This meme suggests that Falcon might very well find himself out of his depth. He’s a talented superhero but unlike Bucky, he has no actual powers in the MCU<\/a>. That gives Bucky a slight edge over Falcon. Bucky can do things that defy the laws of physics and Sam can’t help himself but stare at Bucky in astonishment.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Confused And Angry<\/h2>\n

Speaking of what the show will be about, Anthony Mackie<\/a> described it well. In an interview, Mackie explained that the show is about an angry one-armed guy and a confused guy with wings. That sounds like the beginning of an excellent sitcom. Funnily enough, in the picture, it’s Sebastian Stan who looks confused, not Anthony Mackie. Perhaps their roles might get reversed in the end.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Only One Can Win<\/h2>\n

Some fans might have wondered who would have won. Whether Falcon or Winter Soldier if they decided to fight it out. As it turns out, both Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan have different opinions on the matter. Anthony Mackie believes that Falcon would wipe the floor with Winter Soldier and then send him to Russia in a package.<\/p>\n

Even superheroes can’t spend every moment fighting. They need to catch a breath sometimes, have a break. This meme shows what it might look like when Falcon and Winter Soldier aren’t busy. Apparently, they’ll have nothing better to do but to insult themselves. It’s necessary to point out that both their insults stand on somewhat solid ground. A similar exchange might very well appear in the show. Minus Bucky’s long hair, of course, since he’ll sport a new hairstyle in the show.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Shared Goal Makes Enemies Friends<\/h2>\n

Despite their disagreements, Falcon and Winter Soldier will never try to kill each other. Not only because they’re both good guys but also because they’re Captain America’s friends. And they had enough time to learn how to co-exist, albeit not always peacefully. This picture returns back to Steve’s brief kiss with Sharon Carter<\/a> and his friends’ reaction to it. For once, Sam and Bucky are on the same note and they enjoy making Steve feel embarrassed.<\/p>\n

Finally, it’s time to remind everyone what a great gift The Falcon and Winter Soldier <\/em>will be. The last MCU film<\/a>, Spider-Man: Far From Home<\/em>, premiered in summer 2019. Because of the pandemic, all subsequent films took on a significant delay. Luckily, there are still Marvel superhero shows to save the day and keep the MCU fans sane. WandaVision <\/em>was the first show<\/a> but The Falcon and Winter Soldier <\/em>has the potential to become just as popular, if not more.<\/p>\n
